It's distributed by Four Corners so any of the decent off licences should be able to get if there's still any around.

I buy it in my local Molloy's

Buxton Tsar tonight. Quite bitter for an imperial stout, loads of dark chocolate and very roasty. Lovely, although this bottle is way over carbonated.

Rust Bucket from Kinnegar on draught today. It's top notch, loved it. Now opening a bottle of Double Irish

Been a while but a couple of Founders All Day IPA. What a beer.
Followed up with a couple of Galway Bays Stormy Port.

    Grand night.

    How was the Double Irish?

Bottle of Brewdogs Hinterland last night an "imperial milk and oatmeal vanilla stout" apparently. Absolutely delicious, smooth with chocolatey/coffee-ey taste.

Was sorry I didnt have a second one. Steep enough at 7.50 a bottle mind.

I think Mcgargles 7.1% IPA is alot better than the double Irish.

Thanks. Would you believe I actually found it today in the Carry out in Kilcullen. I suppose I didn't know about it before and may have glossed over it. They have a nice selection there and picked a variety. Really intrigued by the smoked chilli porter from Metalman.

Wood Keys The Raven a Rye ale.

Very nice rye / pale ale styled beer.

Didn't really do much for me that one.

Just sipping a can of Northern Monk Eternal Session Ipa now, lovely, nice hoppy kick, crisp, would be perfect on a hot day, only 4.1% too.

Had one last night, thought it was an excellent beer.

Made a stew earlier. I normally use a bottle of London Pride but I was in Lidl so I picked up 2 bottles of their Crafty Brewing Co. Pale Ale (one for the pot....and one for the chef!). I'm really surprised at how much I like this. Really really nice.

6 Brew Dog Alice Porter in McHugh's for a tenner, do grand, was supposed to be with a Brew Dog glass too, but they'd none left so gave me a Porterhouse Spiegelau-style glass, which is nice.

To be fair to our northern brethren, Northbound's 33 Sticke Alt is a very tasty beer.

Bought a bottle of this tonight. Enjoyable but didn't blow me away, then again malt dominant beers aren't my preference.

There's discounted bottles everywhere that are short dated

Yep, McHugh's also have a load of shortdated Siren beers, Undercurrent is one of them, which is not a bad Pale Ale.

Had a Victory Dirtwolf DIPA earlier, was interesting, big hit of bubblegum initially into a mild enough bitterness, wasn't getting lot of tropical fruit or much fruitiness in general, masked the near 9% well at least.

Finished off the night with 2 very good beers.
Troubles Wired Ipa and Brewdogs Arcade Nation Bipa.

Wasn't a huge fan of Arcade Nation, nice enough but nothing special. Wired on the other hand is nothing short of perfect. Tried it for the second time tonight and it's everything I love in an IPA. Have to pick up a few more before its all gone.

if there was I'd have bought it all, but there wasn't, so either way I've saved you a trip :)

Not seen Calypso in a while, but have you tried Blue Sky...?

    It's amazing.

    How could I forget !
Had a Founders Dark Penance and have to say it's almost a perfect beer.
    It's a shame it's so strong (8.9%) as I could drink 2 or 3 I reckon.
Lovely coffee notes and malt sweetness and then herbel hop finish and some bitterness.

There's a lot going on in this beer.
