Just caught a glimpse of Kippure driving back from the shops and I could swear I could see a bit of a dusting near the top. Difficult to see as there was still some cloud covering the very top and the mast itself.

I think the frosts should start late next week as temperatures are supposed to drop after wedensday.

Can't say much about the smell, but been some pretty intense hail anyway. Has dropped the temperature down from 9.5C to 5.5C in just 10 minutes.

Snow on the Wicklow mountains around here...
I thought I saw a dusting on Kippure, and maybe Djouce too as I was driving around Bray today. I assume Lug and some of the higher peaks have some too.

I'll be 15 in the south anyway, maybe a couple of degree or less further north.

I don't ever look at those temperature 5-day forecast maps by Met Éireann as my temperatures on it do be largely inaccurate!

On March 12, 2013 it said a high of 4c when I only reached 1.9c!

No need to go back that far...on some of the recent +17C days it forecast 13/14C here....I'll stick my neck out here and forecast the max at DA tomorrow will be 11.9C...

Look at the Met Éireann map of temperature on the 3-day forecast for example. For where I am, it even says 12c!
