Happened to click on this in the last 30 seconds of the sale. And saw the good old ebay trick of someone bidding in the last second and winning. Crazy bike.

Rebuilt the Enigma funbike with a new freebie frameset after the old one cracked its headtube last winter. Now on Chorus mechanical which is pleasingly tactile but requires finessing under load.

New frame has mirror decals (which I like) and wider seat tube (which I don't really), but meh.

Arundel Mandible cages are super grippy and look great.

Have set it up more relaxed as I've been riding a Synapse for months and have been off the bike a bit recently.

Cheapy wheels but this is currently my hack commuter :pac:

Needs new bars, hate the shape of these Zipp ones but they are too expensive to let go.

Rushed photo, but here's my new Genesis:

I admit I'm biased towards steel, but I find it stunning. The Campag Veloce derailleurs are also simply beautiful, just like the vintage stuff from the time when derailleurs were beautiful.

do you mean pretty much constant tuning? ....have same mech ..always clink clink when climbing or out of the saddle

No, I mean that scary things happen if I don't ease off slightly when changing gear whilst accelerating hard out of the saddle.

On one occasion the chain slipped across the cassette and the rear wheel bounced up into the air.

Gumwalls require just even a tiny bit of oldschoolness in the rest...

Haven't been properly fitted yet, as you could probably infer from the pedals.
