It would break my heart to see a frame like this scratched. Work of art is uncyclable.

What make of frame is that?

There must be a good reason to paint it up with a bukkake look.

    Firefly

It's snow as it appears on a fat bike which was originally created for snowy conditions.

Maybe lay off the porn a bit.

    Are they both Firefly HB?

The head tube looks like Paul Smith might have been involved.

the 'post images of beasty (quote pics sparingly)' thread does not have the 'quote pics sparingly' there for no reason.

It's stripey - that's all that matters (to some - you should see the state of socks some around here wear!!)

I've changed my mind about that Klein

    I don't think, I've ever seen a Klein, that I didn't like.

This is the most beautiful paint job I have ever seen. If I had the money all of my bikes would look like this (from Harry's link):

I have to agree, it reminds me of skiing in the 80s, or a bag of marbles.

I'm pretty sure I had a shell suit in that colour scheme in the early 90s.

Just finished building it up. I'm looking at picking up a new wheelset and some new handlebars as well as a new saddle. It's 8.1kg at the moment and should come down significantly after some upgrades. I'll cut the steerer after riding it a few times.

As someone who both skied and played marbles in the 1980s I have to agree. What a decade!

Man, best decade ever. Cycling was sexy: Hinault versus Fignon, Hinault versus Lemond, Hinault versus everyone really, Roche v Viscentini, Rooche v Delgado, Phil Anderson with Oakley ski galsses in a Panasonic jersey, Robert Millar with a Pony tail, Sean Kelly.

    . . . and music - awesome:
Smiths, Cure, Jesus and Mary Chain, New Order, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Pixies, Fatima Mansions.

There isnt a day in my middle aged life that goes by when I wish for the 80's, high interest rates, High unemployemnt and high taxes - you need that sort of misery to produce great music, sports and shellsuits.

they were more of a 90s band, surely?
i used to walk two miles to school in the early 90s. 'blues for ceasescu' was the best song to walk to.
