They certainly stand out anyway. Not sure about that testicle textured one on the end though. :P

They for the candy Steve or a bartop or something?

Haven't turned my cab on in a long time now, although any time I walk past it I give the stick a quick flick (;)). Just so it doesn't think it's been forgotten. :o

    They're for...... Dunno :)
Prob try them on a few things and see how they look. I've a bartop they might look good on, but maybe a waste to use them on that.

Anyone use an LCD for a marquee yet?

The idea has been around for a while but thought the LCD would be cheaper by now.
16:3 ratio for your Mame cab, scrolls through the marquees as you play/select each game.

    This is a 19" version.
    http://www.litemax.com/PD_Products_Detail_51_141_2303_US_utf-8.html#.Val09flVhHw

There are 22" and 25" versions. Doesnt have to be that make/model.

    http://youtu.be/AAmAkXXEqwE

Anyone know where to get one?

We should get a kickstarter to replace every public mame cab's sticks in Ireland, and we as a country, will finally be able to hold down back.

I can't see the top handle and the flash hider is wrong, but the hand guard is from a vietnam issue M16. The mag is too long as well.

    Dont ask

    http://www.easycoinup.com/

Easy coin up solution, connect inside your cab to a microswitch.
    Mainly for events etc...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,944 ✭✭✭TechnoFreek

Very neat solution. Needs 100 yen stickers though!

    I can see it now.
    50" wide screen .
    4 players
    8 buttons each
    4 spinners
    Flightstick,trackball and 4 way stick.

Lovely ball tops tho but something tells me they'll be attached to a monstrosity!

What annoys me about that is a legitimate cabinet with a CRT wouldn't actually be much bigger.

In Galway for a few days. Checked out the couple of amusement centres in Salthill. Mostly one arm bandits and redemption games.

Only cabs of note were a monster Time Crisis 4, Doodle Jump and the Sega Codenasters effort Grid which I never knew existed outside of the consoles.
