Is it the catch yoke for opening the bonnet?

Or that handle that attaches to the carpet in the boot for getting at the spare wheel?

Yeah I'm still getting used to the Honda, for the most part it's used for motorway trips, my OH loves it though which is part of what is putting me off, as he suffered severe alfa hate. That said, commuting up to Newry and back all week, I've had no issues at all with it, and when I put the foot down it moves, which I'm slightly surprised at compared to the alfas, it certainly is as happy as the gtv, I never drove the V6 much on the motorway. I think I'm getting to the point where I like it, I'm just suspicious of it lol

Did you see the prototype Guilia?

    Why a blacked out one?

I did indeed.. Pure sex on wheels.
If I was to buy a new car in 2017 then it would be that.

Na. We could be here all day. It's the fuel flap hinge. Another shoddy piece of plastic thats breaks easily on this car.

If anyone knows of any MK3 Golf, Vento or MK2 Punto (Gold) for breaking, please let me know. :)

Or a cheap whole car that's heading for the scrappers that I could get for a low price.

Here's what you do, save up about 170ish euro, put 40 or so of it in the car, take a day out and drive to kilcock and go to that scrapyard, you'l find everything you're after in it

Yeah, I'll have to do that, I guess. I just need someone to buy my Astra. :P

Got the tracking done just there. Handed your man 40 quid which is what it normally is. He handed me back 20 and said "sure you're in the trade" and walked off. I didn't say anything. Must be the snickers pants and that I'm covered in oil! Happy days :D

You can't beat the snickers pants, I'd wear them to work if I could!

What kind of fine can I get if I get pulled over with front door tinted windows?

    Is it worth the risk?

Depends on the fine. If it's a cash fine and/or removal of the tint on the spot then it's worth it.

If it involves penalty points then not :pac:

Lads how difficult is it to change a wiper motor? Both front and back need doing in the focus, and if I could give it a stab myself it would save me going to the mechanic.

Hardest part is usually getting the rusty wiper off the motor. After that it's a piece of cake.

The good thing is you can try to remove the wiper before you do any taking apart work. So if you manage that the hardest part is done.

Paid my tax for the next quarter :(

Also, found out something really stupid about some insurance quotes ahead of my September renewal, so I'm doing the form on Aviva's online quotation system and entering in my reg, they won't quote as it "falls outside their online criteria" yet when I put in the details manually they'll quote fine :pac:

Are they really worth losing some low light vision for?

I thought you're allowed up to 35% tint on the fronts and whatever you want on the rears?

Was just about to say front tints are not illegal

They just have to be a certain percentage for NCT on the front.

Do whatever you want with the back windows.

Yes, but the issue is that most car window glass has a level of tinting already that brings it close enough to that 35% that adding any tint worth buying pushes you over that limit.

Id like to hope its not much more that a 5 or 10% on factory glass? i could be entirely wrong and true i guess it depends on car make itself, is there anyway of finding out?
