    He did

No he didn't. I'm IN my place of work. Doesn't mean I'm working. I'll be IN my car for a few minutes at lunch but I won't be driving it

There was 205/55/16 on it, but I like a lower profile tyre. Wouldn't be a deal breaker or anything, just rather the look of them. I literally have no clue about tyres, yer man could say these are great tyres, put them on, I'd be like great so, happy out Then I come on here and I'm told they're shyte, and I get vewy vewy cwoss with the fact I was lied to.

    Aviva, why?

Axa do discounts on tyres with a load of places

Ceaaaavvin drivers, probably too mean and tight to use indicators... wearing the bulbs out, don't accelerate, because too much fuel would be used etc etc...

This one was doing fifty kph in a 100 zone weaving all over the place and one of the brake lights was gone

Do you have ANY idea how much a brake light bulb costs? At least €7.50...

But not having one saves fuel, less drain on the alternator surely

Exactly! Add to that the €7.50 saving and they only have to recycle a teabag twice instead of the normal 3 times.

Seriously just go in a buy a main brand tyre not one they say is as good but is really a piece of chinese sh!t. Arent your tyres 205/55/16 that's the most common size you could get bridgestone turanzas, michelin energy, goodyear excellence, Pirelli p7 all in that size for 80-90 euro fitted. Have to say the pirelli p7 are decent on my car although it's hard to be the goodyear or turanzas. For the sake of 5-10 euro a corner I wouldn't even consider cheaper cheaper tyres.

im looking too fitting the pirelli p7 in that size too on to my car, what kind of experiences have you had with them are they good at a bit of the harder ;) sort of drivign like on backroads or counrytr-roads and the like y'know that has, no speedbumps and stuff? thanks!

Was back in the tyre centre getting tracking done, took note of all the ones I could see.

Anything decent out of this group.

    Centara
    goodrich
    firestone
    zeta
    doublestar
    hifly
    sunny
    roadking
    austone
    bonanza
    boto
    aptany
    ling long
    fullrun

They are decent tyres IMO not all out as good as turanzas or any of the Goodyears but still very good the car feels secure in the wet no tyre spin unless your going mad hard. Id get them again no problem I think they are a bit cheaper than the other main brands.

Firestone are probably the best out of a bad lot some of them are terrible brands altogether. Actually are they bf Goodrich in the list above they would be an excellent tyre compared to the rest good midrange tyres.

Firestone and Goodrich would be a cut above the rest, I would still count the firestones as muck howsoever, dunno about the goodrich's

It's a megane 3 diesel as I said they are a good tyre in the wet doing 100-120kmh it's not like Id be taking it out a backroad at 180kph in lashing rain around tight bends to test them. I do drive hard sometimes but a lot of the time in the car it would be relaxed enough.

If you are looking for really high end tyres to put on higher performance cars a good few here rate goodyear assymmetric 2 quite high but they are substantially more expensive. I mean I don't know what car you have or how hard you drive to judge whether or not you will find the p7 good enough but based on average I would rate them high throwing them on an m3 to drive flat out everyday they mightened fair as well.

Sure half of that list is made by bridgestone and the other half by michelin :pac:

Yup, seen bridgestone somwhere, but that's it. Unless they're hiding the good ones... Signs for pirelli everywhere though..

Our local tyre place is gone to fcuk they are barely stocking decent stuff anymore all cheap chinese because that's what people want you walk in looking for goodyear and bridgestone and they are like we have a set of triangle there 20 euro cheaper and I'm like I know I want Bridgestones and the gasps from everyone :pac:

Well they know me at this stage so they spare me the triangle are made by michelin and better than bridgestone bullsh!t that tyre fitters go on with.

    It's far far far better.
Topaz is p1ss compared to it.
Car gets more miles and is punchier on maxol.

That said i put 56 litres in yesterday, €80.
    220 miles later and there's barely 1/4 left :D
