Well that explains a **** load over the past week. I dreamt I was driving to my mates wedding again in Poland but there was a major snow storm of packing bubbles that started to fill the car through the air vents.

I've had a few beers and no smokes tonight.

Ye man really odd, very clear dreams like they were real life. Woke up soaked in sweat one night. It'll all gradually pass though. Each 3 months period is easier than the last. Would very rarely even cross my mind to have one now.

But about 98% of mainstream rap nowadays has garbage lyrics like that which don't take half a brain cell to come up with yet they are literally swimming in money and bragging about how much more money they have than the people who listen to their songs and they still love them. Also it sets a low bar for new artists and makes the genre look bad to those who can't find any better songs. :(

It all depends on who you listen to. I listen to a lot of Project Pat, Juicy J, Gangsta Boo mixtapes and three 6 mafia albums.

Some grime as well. Tempa T, and a lot of old grime stuff, D double e, kano, old dizzy rascal etc..

What type of music are you into?

I like trap (edm subgenre) and rap mostly. Hopsin and Akala are good.

Latvian rap is great, the market for it is very small so those artists have little to no chance of getting rich so there's pretty much no empty rhymes or bragging.

Oh both kinds, Rock AND Roll. ;)

I went cold turkey from smoking in the car after my sister said it smelled funny. I never smoked again in it, that was down from 10 a day at least in the car at the time. Now NOBODY can smoke in it regardless of the situation.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,718 ✭✭✭Hal1

I can't stand the smell of it since I quit and can't even be around people that do. I dunno how I managed it tbh. I've banned it in most places and the car is a deffo no.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,308 ✭✭✭✭wotzgoingon

I once both a car off someone who smoked. The smell was there for months. I said never again am I buying a car where a smoker owned it.

Never got in the habit of smoking in the car. Only ever smoked rollies, probably why! Too lazy and disorganised to pre roll. Might have one on a long journey. Realised then after I quit that I was getting much more stressed out at idiots on the m50 than i needed to be. Alot less bothered by those eejits who "SHOULDN'T BE ON THE ****ING ROAD YE DIDDERY MICRA DRIVING BASTARD!!!"

You'll have that!! 2 weeks ago I had one of those black audi A6's hogging the fast lane jam on as I came up behind him. Just after i gave him a flash to move. No one else around apart from a broken down renault builder van covered in cement and **** up ahead. He wasnt even near the 120 limit.

Ye're still taking about smoking?!

Sorry for bringing it up :o

    Never have, never will smoke.

Anyway, a friend reckons that I should sell the mondeo and buy his golf.

Essentially, what he was getting at is that a racked 210k miles 2004 gt tdi 3 door golf, debadged - is better than a 2008 mondeo 125 bhp, minded like a baby with 124k miles, not given an ounce of trouble. Says it's smoother on the road and would make a better cruiser.

They're not comparable cars in the first place.

I think he's smoking alright, the wacky tabaccy though.....

Haha he is on something by sounds of it and it's strong!!

He'd be one of those vag for life people, well just has a massive horn for golfs. Nothing whatsoever in the world could be better then a golf, ford - ****, honda - ****, etc.

Was gonna make a comparison to bpmull, but can't really now

This buck would stop dtiving before he'd drive anything french, renault etc. His tunes getting a tad old now though...

Same with tractors, john deere are muck apparently, nothing in the world could be better than a fiat 110-90.

You wouldn't mind as much if he owned anything other then a golf or fiat, but he hasn't, it's all hearsay/pub talk.

I love JD's from working in them but the fastested road tractor I ever drove was a Fiat which had been..............imporved......

Sadly the radial tyres made it a handful at full throttle

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,308 ✭✭✭✭wotzgoingon

I always assumed John Deere were the best tractor and fast trac were the fastest.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,845 ✭✭✭Noccy_Mondy

JD were very modern, esp the older ones. Ours is a 95 reg, is all cream and brown inside, has a 24 speed gearbox, quick lever shuttle, clutchless gear change on some of the gears. It has a 40k box.

Some of the newer tractors have 60k boxes. I was behind a new fendt not long ago, going 62/3 km, even it caught up to paddy going dog slow in his clattered out seat inca......

A tractor catching up to, and getting stuck behind a van on the road, times have changed!

Saw a few in Ireland. Don't really know if private imports or not.
