That doesn't look anywhere close to 186mph if you look at the video.

I didn't look at the vid but pretty sure Canada operate in km/h.

Was browsing donedeal there for inspiration for the Mongol Rally thread - came acros this WTF:

    http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/2000-daihatsu-terios-4wd-lpg-nct-to-03-2016/9030122?offset=21

Daihatsu Terios converted to LPG. Would you be bothered like? Who would really want to do anything more than very small miles in one?

still reasonable money for the jeep overall. decent bangernomics contender imo.

the price of lpg conversions seems to be coming down overall (whether this is at the compromise of quality, i don't know), which could spell a brief window of economically viable conversions while the fuel is still cheap, before the whole country cops on to it.

Mr pickles sir! Do halfords sell hose? As in 40mm or inch and a half hose. Any type really. I need about a metre of it tomorrow and halfords is right by work. If not I'll get it elsewhere. Gonna use an old fog machine to find the source of my fuel leak. I knew it would come in handy some day! :D

All too narrow I'm afraid. I need 40mm. I typed in hose on the site and all I got was power washers! Cheers anyway.

No only about a metre long and 40mm diameter.

The owner of the place I work in is a ridiculous hoarder so I'll be surprised if I don't find any thrown aside from 1982 in one of the storage areas tomorrow.

Mondeo got serviced today. Don't know if it's just me or not, but it's a great feeling driving with new oil and filters!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,308 ✭✭✭✭wotzgoingon

On about servicing. Me and the father were trying to get a oil filter off. Wouldn't budge. Hit with screw driver and battering it as well would not move. It was full of holes and dents, we kept taking turns when we got fed up. In the end my father got a a steel rod through through it and used a hammer for torque. he was moving the engine and still wouldn't budge eventually it started moving, it was well stuck on. The car was a 1 litre Nissan micra where the oil filter is up half way up the engine, so you couldn't get both hand on at the same time and limited space if anybody knows the cars. I think it was a 2000 reg car.
