Have you put it up on both BMWHaus.ie and Driver? If not I'd recommend doing so, will go a lot faster.

Cheers I'll have a look there now. Thanks.

Rang a breakers about alloy wheels yesterday, they wanted 400 and 30 for delivery, so 430 in total. Rang them back today, got talking to a different fella, he says 350 and 20 for delivery, got him down to 350 all in, I'd call that a pretty good result  Done up the postal order and popped it into the express post. Should be here on Thurs/Fri all going well.

Is this for the mondeo or focus. I thought both had alloys what type are the ones you getting of a titanium model or something is it ?

It's a 330i is it? Those cars are far more suited to enthusiast forum.

Yea it's a 330i. Looking on pistonheads there's not even as many as I thought there would be for sale in the uk.

For the mondeo this time. It has alloys on it, but 16" ones. Too small for a car of that size, putting 17's on it, same as the ones in the pic. They're the ones found on the titanium/ zetecs that have the sport pack.

The octavia will be getting round 2 of L plates in November the poor car won't know what's hit it when the brother starts. He has no interest in driving or cars even in the slightest but my parents are forcing him to learn to drive. Id say the octavia would have been gone at this stage only for he is learning to drive so soon the 1.6 is handy for insurance well it will still be high.

not Sarcasm at all, I only got my full license about 3 years ago when there was talk of introducing R plates. I was on a provisional for 3 years before that and only got around to doing a test when I got an FTO. At the time I also wanted to pass before the R plates came in even though they came in later than expected, I guess 34 would seem ancient compared to all you whippersnappers.

Was it someone in this thread enquiring about a reg plate done with a light blue background behind the numbers? (I may be in the completely wrong thread - but im 99% sure it was this one)?

I done my theory on a saturday. Eye test on the sunday. And went to Nenagh on the monday to apply for the licence. That was exactly one year ago today!

I passed the test today at 3pm, was in Nenagh at 4pm to apply for the full licence. No waiting around here :p

There's a white Scirocco & a red Golf parked at Tom Harvey VW garage in Thurles everyday and they both have the reg done that way. I presume whoever owns them work in the garage or the ajoining shop. Im sure if you give them a phone call then they may be able to lead you in the right direction :)
