Got insurance renewal just now...

It only gone up by 50eu!!! I am not joking, I was already planing on selling my car as I was expecting my insurance to go throw the roof and back, then up again throw the roof, but making a brand new hole! :pac:

I will call them later and make a fuss anyway, to try and drop it a bit!

You must not have had a renewal in the past several months, don't think there's a policy in the country that didn't increase!

I don't have to renew until mid August or thereabouts. I did change my insurance from one car to another at the beginning of this month though.

Indeed. I was dreading the day. Specially when Liberty is the only company that insure me. I was 760eu last year and 810eu this year. I will try to get it down again, but later. I worked 7 days and got a few pints last night in me, so my first day off involves only bed, ps4 and pizza.

i am hoping i don't go to TESCO this week to be charged double for my weekly shop for them to tell me, "sure groceries are going up, across the board".

it really is a very handy phrase if you are selling stuff and want more money. "sure prices are going up". i genuinely feel like i need to start a business and get price increasing up a.s.a.p. while the phrase is still fresh in peoples minds.

Well, I was used to the idea that more driving experience / ncb = cheaper insurance.

My insurance went from 1795 to 950 (Aug 2013 - Aug 2014)

Once you gain decent level of NCB it won't work that way, unfortunately.

Anyone any experience of selling cars in the uk? Thinking of putting my own up on pistonheads. I could price it a bit cheaper than any other similar 330i. Haven't had even a bit of interest over here not even one phone call.

Have you put it up on both BMWHaus.ie and Driver? If not I'd recommend doing so, will go a lot faster.

Lads, I remember there was a very good compilation of Rally B stuff in youtube thread, anyone remembers it? I cant find it.

I feel like watching some greatness and showing my "drift lover" friends what is proper skill and machines.

Rang a breakers about alloy wheels yesterday, they wanted 400 and 30 for delivery, so 430 in total. Rang them back today, got talking to a different fella, he says 350 and 20 for delivery, got him down to 350 all in, I'd call that a pretty good result :cool: Done up the postal order and popped it into the express post. Should be here on Thurs/Fri all going well.
