Surf Safety Talk tonight (Wed, March 4) in Dublin

    Hosted by the East Coast Surf Club:

    "Big Wave Surfer, Paramedic and Surf Lifesaver will give a presentation on surfing and safety. Dr Alex Kelleher of European Association of Surfing Doctors will also present the latest health and safety with surfing and will give details on upcoming Surfing Medicine Conference in France"

    On in the Camden Court hotel at 8pm.

    Non club members are asked to make a contribution to the RNLI

    Wouldn't Galway be a better venue, as most of the best surfers are on the west coast.

    Why would the East Coast Surf club arrange an event for surfer in the west who aren't members of their club and force their own members to travel or miss out?

    Im saying I reread the post again and realised that it was an east coast surf club event and not an actual nationwide event.

    Maybe someone over the West Coast will organise something similar.
