    Hey folks, off the 1st week in March. Heading down to the outlaws for a few days (north west mayo) so looking for a hotel recommendation for the 2 of us and near 7 month old anywhere on the west coast.

    Ashford castle, Bunratty castle we've been too, would prefer to stay out of Galway city aswell.

    Would like it to have a pool if possible

    Have you ever been to Westport? One of the loveliest places on the West cost. Highly Recommend Knockranny House Hotel or Hotel Westport.

    A lot of these hotels are a minimum 2 hour drive to North West Mayo (but maybe thats not a problem).

    Mount Falcon in Ballina is pretty impressive, and has a pool.

    Here's a few more;

    Renvyle House is gorgeous. Beautiful setting. There's a haunted room, I forget which number room it is though!

    Also Rosleague Manor, near Letterfrack:

    Stayed in both and liked both. Hotel Westport not quite as upmarket as knockraney but priced accordingly, good food, spa and a more friendly atmosphere imo.
