Does anyone remember those Yuletide logs from years ago with a robin on the side and spray snow with an electric fixture that took bulbs that flickered like a candle?
I'm looking to but one and can't see one anywhere. I'd really like one as part of my Christmas decorations this year. They remind me of my childhood.
    Cheers,
    D

I know exactly what you're talking about but don't know where to get one :(

Even eBay is coming up blank!
Closest thing is this: ebay item 291250107420

Its nowhere near what you're talking about but as much as I can find...

Does it have to be electric? What about battery operated?

I remember these alright. My gran had them in her house. Must invest in new bulbs for it. This would be the first year in about 10 years since we used them. Those arch/bridges have become too common.

I am looking for eclectic log type candles in Cork.

The ones that people used make out of wood, a wooden log and a light bulb.

    Are they available anywhere?

Hi! I don't know if ye can get to Galway but the Tuam Men's Shed has been making these and we got one last Christmas. They are fairly big but they are lovely and it's nice knowing that old Irish hands made them.

Here's a pic of some of them

They are exactly what I'm looking for. Won't be in Galway though.
