The MNSCI (Midlands) are pleased to announce a Bullseye 360 and Rifle competition for pistol and rifle shooters of all types on Saturday 29th November 2014. This includes any sights, action, caliber, etc. As a Bullseye and Match comp there is no rests or supports of any type. This includes slings, rests, bags, bipods, sticks, etc. Nothing.

The shoots will be broken up into a four different disciplines. They are:
    • Centrefire Pistol Bullseye
    • Rimfire Pistol Bullseye
    • Rifle, Short Course
    • Rifle Long Course

You may enter as many as you like, as often as you like. This is an open competition meaning all are welcome. There are no restrictions on the caliber or type of gun you use. A ranking system is being introduced that will take effect when enough shoots have been completed to properly place each competitor in their appropriate class. These are:
    • A - Master
    • B - Expert
    • C - Marksman
    • D - Standard

    ==================================================================================================

    New Pistol Team Event

This shoot will feature a new detail. It's a 1320 pistol comp for teams. The format is simple enough. Each club will assemble a team of shooters consisting of two (2) rimfire shooters & two (2) centrefire shooters. They may name themselves whatever they like, and register their team upon arrival at the range. The score will be the total of all four shooters.

It's hoped this will help grow and expand on the popularity of the pistol shooting and encourage more people to come out and participate.

The same as above. If it could be planned for another weekend maybe and there would be bigger numbers for this shoot then. I know of 3 of us that will be at the HH shoot.

And 5 from your last bullseye comp won't be there as well. As they are going to HH

I've made contact with the lads and they are aware of the shoot in Harbour House. The unfortunate news is the shoot was scheduled some time ago and because of such a tight calender at the MNSCI re-scheduling the shoot is not an option.

The lads are still going to look into it, but the chances are high it'll have to go ahead on the 29th.

We realise this may not suit some the lads going to HH, and we're sorry that such a clash has occurred. We wish everyone going to HH the very best, enjoy your day and sure we'll see you on the line on the next shoot.

On that note we are going to try and organise a belated Chritmas shoot for directly after Christmas so as to avoid other conflicts in schedules and as a make up shoot for those that miss the one on the 29th.

Turn out today was low, as was to be expected, but a good day had.

The fog was absolutely terrible and forced us to use only pistols and short range rifle. Good to meet up with some old faces and put names to some new ones. The shooting was good and most scores seemed a lot higher than the last comp. Lads were very happy, some more so than others, but there seems to be a steady and consistent increase in ability and scores.

Was great, for me, to be back among the pistol shooting. Really miss my Sig, and proposals or not i think i'm going to try and re-license it. The craic, fun and challenge of the shooting was fun, even as a spectator and i did not realise how much i missed the laugh at these matches until today.

As promised there will be a comp as soon as possible after Christmas so more on that when i get it.

To everyone that came along, thanks, and great to see you all.

To the lads at HH today, i hope ye all had a great day (hope someone puts up a thread about how ye done) and look forward to seeing you all in the new year.

Anyway, email sent again this morning to you and same result.

GUYS..... if you don't receive the results within one week of the competition please email me as I'm not always on Boards.ie but I do check my emails several times a day, thanks...
