If that Aguero story is true then I've lost a little respect for him. Regardless of how himself and Rojo may get on its a charity event!

I was simply scoffing at Utd fans laughing at Liverpool's season being so ****e, while they sit behind Liverpool in the table. Seems weird.

It's November, who cares about the table.

He claimed he had to go to the airport to pick up someone. It might be or might not be a valid excuse.

But Rojo made it clear in the piece, he is looking forward to getting stuck into Aguero.

That story came out during the WC.Aguero threw his toys out of the pram and came across as very petty & childish.

MUTV going with Fellaini in the #10 role with Rooney & RVP up front.

It's the most reasonable barometer for assessing results a quarter way into the season, so I suspect most people?

Aggressive attack. Fellani deserves his place so Rooney pushed forward makes sense.

    Is Jones available?

Not really, Southampton being an example of this. Pretty sure Hull were also joint top of the league after 9 games

I think it will be Blind and Fellaini with Rooney just in front behind RVP. Di Maria and potentially Januzaj on the wings again. Being honest that looks the most balanced team we can play and will give us a chance of nicking something. Looking forward to this!!

It's an easy one for me

Would you rather be in the position of having a manager who has had over two full years, spent almost a quarter of a billion pounds, and things now looking like going to shít after a player leaving and praises of being "one of the best young managers in the world" after one good season looking unfounded, Suarez hitting world class levels looking like the reason behind it all

Or would you rather a manager who is a proven winner, who has bought and is looking to buy the quality of player we need, has a history of helping build good foundations at a club, and who is showing progress so far regardless of whether we are one point off liverpool or 4 points off 4th

Looking forward to this although not over confident. Someone posted on the match thread that there's rumours Valencia is to start at RB. Let's hope that's all it is.

All that money spent and we're going into a Manchester derby with this generation's Tony Cascarino in the playmaker role.

    Shocking.

Which demonstrate the value of looking at the table as both Hull & Southampton have had class starts to the season?

First and foremost, I'm hoping to see a good quality performance from us today and hopefully we come out of this with at least a point.

If we perform very well but for whatever reason end up losing, I would be disappointed but not devastated.

A long as our team continues to gel and this is evident in the performances I will be happy.

I don't agree with playing him in that spot, but I have probably been an even bigger critic of his from the get go than you have and I have to admit, he has been vastly improved the last 1.5 games. It's a tiny sample size m and I still wouldn't even have him as a certain starter for the 'easier' games, but given LVGs history of developing, reinventing and rejuvenating players roles and careers and our sheer lack of depth at CM it can't be seen as anything but a major positive (especially since if we are to get players in in January, CB should be the focus).

    I hope you're right.

    I still think he's a joke.

Rafael must be injured again? Not even on the bench.
Januzai lucky to get a starting position IMO. Would prefer to Herrera in there.

Suppose Rafael was due an injury, I like the lad but he will never be a long term option. That's another position that needs filling.

Lads we need a RB badly. I love Raf but valencia is absolutely cack at defending. Constantly loses his man.

No Hererra makes me sad. Think we need someone like him in place of Jan.

Plight, yet we're still ahead of Utd. Funny.

I won't get into this with you since I know you are far from happy with Liverpools start to the season, I also know that it would be impossible for you to not understand why I would be happy with Liverpools start to the season. We also won't go down the road of having to question if you have ever been happy at United going through a sticky period even if Liverpool aren't doing too great themselves as we all know the answer. Pretense of anything else is, funny.
