Even Chelsea fans are OK with that result, mainly because they know they were blessed to only have the 1 red card with Matic, Drogba and Hazard all taking out Mata on the break. As soon as their one defender who played well was correctly sent off - we took advantage.

Ref was very soft with bookings in the first half, would have been nice to have Rooney today but overall I'm very happy - we've improved drastically since day 1 this season.

Also, Rafael was once again stonkingly good today and Fellainis strength was much needed.

While I think many people are overstating the performances, still it was good to see us finally compete and have some composure in midfield. In the first half in particular there was a period where we were recycling the ball across the field and holding possession very well, something we just didn't see in the Carrick and Cleverly days. Blind and Felliani deserve a lot of credit for that at least.

Surprised to see people faffing over the result. Didn't you draw with Chelsea last season too?

Go way out of that! You are neither surprised to see people happy at a good performance against a better Chelsea team then last season or here for anything that will resemble reasoned conversation

    Did you enjoy the game?

    I didn't see it.

Was at the Giants Causeway while it was on. Came in here after not knowing result and saw declarations of "what a result" and some celebratory gifs, hence why I surprised when I saw it was actually a draw not a win.

Can understand relief & being happy, but wouldn't go over the top about it.

Snatching a draw in the 94th minute and deserving it is always going to produce more of a reaction than a 0-0 snorefest.
I'll faff if i want to faff.
That goal put a massive smile on my face, you're f*cked if you think a miserable, bitter post is going to make me take a step back and take stock of my mood.

Thought Mata was very good while he was on

Thought Mata was useless myself. He has had 3 games to Show he deserves a place in the team and has been piss poor. He just doesn't have enough pace and is very one footed. Technically he is better than Rooney but he brings a lot less to the team. Herrera would e a better no 10.

So, Liverpool are losing to Chelsea at Anfield this season, 1-0, going into injury time. Liverpool equalise and save a point when it looked like a defeat was guaranteed, Jose had shut the shop

You wouldn't expect many Liverpool fans to be a little excited about it?

It was great to see the team keep fighting, that has been lacking for so long. They deserved a draw too, we should have been well ahead in the first half and Chelsea were the better in the second. From predictions of many that we would be torn apart, we came away with a good point. People are happy, this may provide a spring board, hopefully.

I love the Causeway, was the weather good? Beautiful place

Another case where I have no idea what people think his role is meant to be.

It was dry but blowing a gale. Had never been before but it was pretty stunning & I think the murky weather & the insane wind kinda added to it. Felt like the edge of the world.

Ah right, people are delighted about snatching a point from the jaws of defeat, the result, many people have pointed out, is secondary to the overall performance and the display of character from the team. The play was still too pedestrian at times, but we are getting better

Yeah it really does feel like that, was up there again in the summer. On a clear day it is amazing also

Had my worries with Raf getting booked so early but fair play he stuck to his task, looked dangerous going forward. He's still a little indecisive in aspects of his defending but gives his all for us. Jones and his wonky injuries can feck off.

Thought Shaw had his best game (that I've seen) same with Fellaini.
