33 (-4) after bps with 5 to play. Capt gone though. Not good enough really, but funking strongly for a costa 1 point tomorrow

Currently on 32, will be up to 37 assuming captain Siggy gets 2 bps and Aguero 1. Have Costa, Fabregas, Welbeck, Di Maria and Clyne to play tomorrow. The success of this game week will depend entirely on how Costa does tomorrow really. Low score form him and I'll be doing well I reckon.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Gerrard is going to get 1 bp even though he got booked and didn't contribute to any of the goals. Berahino, who won and scored a penalty, will end up with no bps. An absolute joke of a system.

Both myself and the guy just ahead of me at the top of my money league have Aguero and Costa, but he captained the latter while I put it on Kun. Got out of jail with the goal. In the awkward position of not really wanting one of my players to do well tomorrow now.

It goes without saying that costas ownership is so high as to be rooting against one of your own unless he has the armband. I hate that.

No ulloa or agureo - so close to be being a great day. Have siggy and sterling too. Silva a disappointment though.

So all in all meh day now.

Really taught today would be the day augero ran roit. In the end giving him the arm band wasn't that bad, better late than never and he should of had a hat trick tbh.

It will come though the ageuro show will come !.

Is the point of the bonus not to reward players who may have played well without necessarily getting primary points? Points for 'influence' if you will. Berahino got his dues.....

46 (-4) incl. bonus points. Delighted with that :) Also have Bertrand, Cesc, Di Maria and Costa to play tomorrow :)

    30 (-4) with 7 to play-

41 with ADM, Welbeck, Costa, Fabregas and Clyne left to play. Happy with that. I'll be a hell of a lot happier when Costa draws a blank.

19 with 7 to play. Can't say i'm not disappointed. My inability to get Aguero is hurting me hard!

I can get him next game week but not sure if I will.
its gonna be baines and pelle OR aguero and Forster (which will mean losing courtois)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,673 ✭✭✭skippy15

32 with fab costa courtois welbeck and di maria- happy enough
And two transfers in place for international break but first time ever may not use them:eek:

The (Very) Good: Played Henderson rather than take a -4 to bring in Silva for Ramsey. Net gain of 14 points.

    The Bad: Brought in Ulloa.

The Ugly: My defence. Got me 1pt, 1pt and 1pt

33 from 7, with Costa (c), Fabregas, Pelle and De Gea to go.

    WC activated - as planned.

I suppose all those sideways passes worked in Gerrard's favour then.

I haven't seen the game so can't argue very long but have to disagree on the "joke of a system" part. I remember some years ago Charlie Adam was always getting BPs no matter what Blackpool ended up getting. That year the system was a joke right. And I did benefit a lot from these miraculous Adam BPs.

Also Berahino is on the losing side today. Then, was he influent on the game?

Looking at BBC live text he didn't do much. He converted his own penalty right. He had 2 shots on target and obtained a free kick. But was caught offside 2/3 times, committed a few fouls (e.g. handball). On the other hand Gerrard had 2/3 shots on target, created several (4/5 listed in the BBC LT) chances, made some defensive efforts.

So that seems to indicate that your

Nice jump from 264k up to 88k. If If I can stay inside the top 100k I'll be delighted! Will watching Costa through my fingers tomorrow.

I wonder if the cheap defence theory is starting to crack.. Burnley are going down and duff has had his day.. Leicester look to be shipping a few also... Defence is the hardest nut to crack this year in reckon

Perhaps, but I'll check out Burnley again after the break when they should have their strongest 11 back.

I was referring to the fact Berahino won the penalty not the game. I still think it's not right that Gerrard gets rewarded with a bonus point having had no attacking return and getting booked whereas Berahino who scored doesn't get any. The system is probably better than years gone by but still needs to be looked at with cases like this.

Until the big boys keep clean sheets the cheap defence is the way to go. Id rather spend 22 million on my back 5 and get no clean sheets, then spend 27 million and also get no clean sheets. Burnley are going down but have good spirit and will be tough to beat at home. Duff as part of a 5 man rotating defence is a no brainer IMO.

18 has me dropped down about 10k places. Was expecting a whole lot worse, tomorrow will be the victorious comeback :P

27 from 5 with 20 coming from captain siggy, could be worse! Bringing in Dzeko didn't pay off but was very nearly captaining him so i can't complain too much

I dropped a grand total of 8 places worldwide :-D
