52 with Sterling left to play. great start so far compared to last year! If i can keep hitting 50+ all season i'll be extremely happy!

was just thinking that I think the majority of us have started a lot better than we did last year.

I stand here with the minority.

53 points. Only had 10 players this week for the second week in a row.

    What message are you getting?

50 points and that's me done for the week. I fear I'll probably drop into the million club after tonight's game unless something bizarre happens like substitutes combining to score and with both teams scoring!

64 points after a miserable 35 last week. No more players left but had Rodwell and Wisdom on my bench

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

    64 for me this week.

If I had used my bench differently I would have 76 (Wisdom and Guzan).

    5k in the world.

wow. I did not expect that. up from 25k on Saturday night.

Lamela and Bardsley were decent differentials then.

I am not so sure you are right there. The average score in the Boards pay league is 51 (from 89 entrants) which wouldn't be a bad indicator of the standard here I think. Anyone that enters a pay league usually takes the game fairly seriously. Of the 51 people that have reported scores here 42 have bettered that. Therefore 82% of scores reported are better than the Boards average!

Anyway it doesn't matter a damn, the average global score is only 39 and we are well ahead of that here going on the average of 51 in the pay league which was the point made by the poster that started off this debate!

I don't even know where that myth of not posting bad results started tbh.

There is nothing better than posting pathetic score of 30 when global average is 60. And the worse the score the more thanks you get.

I tend to post when I have a great week or an awful week, should usually be more great than awful weeks for people taking the game seriously.

On 120 points total, reasonably happy with that.

anything over 100 is a solid start IMO.

45 with Sterling to go. Aim is to get minimum 50 every week so hoping he can get me the five points to make it.

120 points total, I am hoping for an average of 50 per week... I am hoping for an overall average of 50 per week so going ok so far.

With Wisdom and his juicy 8 coming off the bench I'm on 48 for the week with Lovren and Sterling to go so solid enough again after 58 in GW1.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,725 ✭✭✭kennyb3

124 (26k overall) with 8 for wisdom to come off the bench (132 would put me in top 7k but others subs should leave me circa 15k at a guess), a dzeko goal tonight and i'll have a nosebleed, a double and i'll prob pee my pants.

Nice work. I'm up to 22k but expect to drop considerably if Sterling, Sturridge, Lovren etc do anything tonight, I've played my 11 already. Even with subs alone I'll probably drop 10k. Delighted if I stay in the top 50k.

up from 751k to 28k. Lamela and Dier the difference. Coutinho still to play. Don't expect to stay there after the City game.

    Dier is a weird one.

while i think many jumped on the bandwagon with him and got rewarded far more than they should have (thus píssing me off slightly!), I do think the Spurs defence was a decent choice this year after watching their first game against West Ham, and he was destined to start with their injuries currently.

it'll be interesting to see if he stays in the side long term though. a lot of people who jump on now might get disappointed.

1-1 tonight please. Fernando and Allen with the goals would be lovely.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,268 ✭✭✭IsMiseMyself

I don't care what it ends as long as Silva, Dzeko, and Sterling all do nothing. I do not like the odds at all though. :(

One all draw, both goals being og's, and sturrige, sterling, silva and aguero all sent off for fighting. A man can dream....

Need less than 7 points from Silva to win a h2h match.

54 points (-8), with Sterling still to play. 120 points total, 58k place overall.

Taking the 8 point hit was a kick in the nuts, but both changes scored me points (Young -> Siggy, Blackett -> Hutton) so had to be done.

Happy enough with my team; might cheapen up my defence and swap Rooney for Aguero or Sturridge, but that's not an urgent one.

I'm looking at Lloris as the best option of getting into the Spurs defence.
