I presume that 250 gto would be in the millions, surprised there was not an army of minders around it
Estimated value of $1.2 - 1.6 million.
There were no minders or anything. It, along with loads of other cars were being loading on to an 18-wheeler truck for transport. I could walk up as close as I wanted. It was class 0 -

I hope you don't mind me posting some holiday photos in here. I have quite a number of photos (I was there for a month) so I'll upload them in small batches every so often. I've also sized them down a bit. I also have lots of photos from the Mooneyes show we went to as well as Ebisu, but they are the last of the photos. I took all of these whilst just wondering around the streets. As these were street shots, a lot of them are either a) badly taken or b) done on a phone or c) both. There is no real order here either! It is amazing what you find just pottering down backstreets and whatnot...
Alpina E24, just on a normal driveway. In Tokyo on the way to the Skytree.
I do recall this being driven by an old giffer.
Returning to our Hostel in Hiroshima to discover an AE86 in the carpark.... dark + cameraphone = blurrrrrrrrrrrrr
Also Hiroshima, which seemed to have a decent population of VIP-esque motors cruising the streets of a night time.
This thing just oozed win.
No, I don't know either....made me chuckle though!
Again, just randomly parked on a street. Wind deflector and roof rack looked cool.
Poor old Datsun rotting away in a garage in Tokyo.
Actual "underground" parking in an apartment block in Tokyo.
And finally, a little yard behind an Up! garage that the owner let us have a gander around.
Thats all I can fit in this post. If people are okay with it I have loads more I could upload. Japan really is such a fascinating place and any car enthusiast would be like a kid in a toy shop, because there is literally "something for everyone" -0 -

On the way back from Hiroshima to Kyoto in a sleepy little town was this tidy mini. Like I said, the diversity is amazing, there really is "something for everyone".
Ladies and gentlemen I present to you the worlds least practical crew cab pickup truck. The mind boggles with this one.
Hold on I'm trying to take a picture! The guy actually stopped so we could.
Another backstreet Mini.
Mildly tweaked MPVs were pretty much everywhere outside Tokyo. This was in Nara.
Another car park spot..... don't mess with this little pickup....looks like it gets used hard.
Lots of cool bikes dotted around the place too.0
