Seems like we've only been able to sign players who aren't in demand or from clubs who are happy to sell. Will feel a lot better about our prospects this transfer window when (or if) we manage to push a more 'difficult' transfer over the line.

I imagine Celta Vigo wanted to keep Aspas...

I'd imagine this is more to do with the boys upstairs than Rodgers tbf.
25M for lanana is daft IMO especially as soton appear to be in fire sale mode at present with potechino Shaw Lambert and lallana all apparently leaving. Sell on clauses have nowt to do with it that's between them and Bournemouth or whoever.
20M is OTT for my liking. Lads calling Ramsey a one season wonder and liking lallana is crazy.

Daily Mail had a story about us being interested in Fabregas at £30 mill. Would love to believe it. Can't see how we'd go as high as 25m for Lallana if Cesc is available and wants to play for us.

It was reported on AS earlier today that the 16m plus a player deal was all but sorted, and that the player heading to Sevilla would not be Alberto not Suso.

AS are about as good as many of the UK outlets I like to slag off, but as I like this rumour I am choosing to ignore my scepital take on AS.

I would say that isthe press picture leaked early.

They just probably have to wait for the paperwork to be cleared at the FA office which was probabaly closed over the weekend before offically naming him as a Liverpool player.
