Lallana is a super player who has navigated every step up in his career very well. He was one of the best attacking players in the premier league last season and has been very good in his short international career to date.

Couldn't complain about spending 20 million on him at all, he is quality, he is well suited to the sort of system we play and he can play multiple positions.

So he hasn't years of CL experience or league medals in his cabinet - so what?
Scouting players successfully isn't about what they've done in the past, it's about predicting what they are going to do in the future

Don't think there is anything to the Dante story but he's a physical beast and would be a massive upgrade on what we have. He knows what it takes to win too which is something we could really do with back there. Can be very vocal on the pitch too.

Dante is 30 and not very good. I'd prefer someone like Caulker to be honest. Plus, would you really want this hair in our defence?

I wouldn't go that far. He's a young defender, did very well in a struggling team last season, and could well develop into a strong starter. Look at how late the likes of Jagielka, Cahill and Dunne blossomed?

I think a lot is made of the left/right thing for CBs. Yet lots of teams have two right footed CBs, why can't we have two lefties?

Because the majority are right-handed, many right-footed CB's have septn a lot or all of their career on the left side. They've grown accustomed to it.
Whereas, the scarcity of lefties means any left-footed CB will always play on the left side so playing on the right would feel very unnatural.
