    Seems a little steep.

I agree. But then again you're bringing in 2 lads who work really well together and should gel real quick.

If Lovren is a target then Skrtels time may be up

Lovren would be an excellent addition to the defence. And Lallana would fit into the team nicely offering us a bit more freedom to rest players or drop them if their performance dropped without changing the way the team plays. Would be pretty happy with both at the club.

    But Bertrand, SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!

Just had a look at the humour thread for the first time in awhile, you'd swear some clowns in particular were celebrating losing their virginity rather than finishing 7th and their rivals finishing 2nd.

    Yup.

Not a Fan of Bertrand. At this Point in Time, he's Inferior to our Flano. So it makes no Sense in getting him.

As it should be if we're to genuinely push on.

It'll be a bit surreal to me if we end up getting Lovren to play alongside Sakho. I posted this 3 years ago.

You said Sakho or Lovren not both so it doesn't count :P

    Good shout!

Did you look back any further or just at the part that suits your bullshìt?

Aye, no problem with banter. Probably worded my post wrong, I wasn't taking taking a shot at all Man U fans, just certain ones who are still posting there lols when most have moved on at this stage. It's sad, especially when banter is born out of a vantage point, of which there's none here. ;)

Bbc reporting that we're in for Lallana and louvren for 40 million.

    Good bit of business

Thats very misleading. Bbc are usually a reputable source. Theyre reporting nothing, they just have a link on their gossip page to a story in the mirror claiming were in for both. Which means a lot less than it would if bbc were reporting it.

Yeh he proof read the whole thread, because Football fans never make sweeping generalisations about rivals fans do they.

Besides if you read his post you'll see he said "some", so wind your neck in and stop being so sensitive.

Also Liverpool not looking to sell Johnson but unlikely to offer him a new contract as well. Seems he will just run out the last year of his contract.

    ____

All outside of the EPL. Yes, it's slightly bigger than my ten or so players mentioned last summer, but sure, Champions League football innit :D One or two I didn't mentioned as I don't believe they'll be moving for at least one more year barring a ridiculous bid due to having signed a new contract recently (Pjanic, Fernando, Matuidi, etc).

    Now go Ayre, capture them!

I really hope we not paying 40m for those two. Surely for that money and with champions league we should be aspiring for top top quality as Rodgers said.

I really rate Lallana but lovern is not worth 20m. certainly take him over caulker and Bertrand however.

I know it's all paper talk but I've found the Liverpool transfers gossip very underwhelming verus the likes of player utd, arsenal and Chelsea linked with.

Maybe I'm being too harsh but we have had some very poor transfer windows lately and really need to push on. I much rather players like Martinez , shaqiri with European pedigree than players who have just shone in last 18months

I know you got stick for this before, but there is no way that you watch the Japanese or Ukranian league!

No Cerci or Immobile in your list Ade? Perhaps they would take a ridiculous bid to oust from Torino though... Would be class if we picked up a gem from relative obscurity like Kagawa/Hernandez from Japan/Mexico...

Whatever happened to Marco Bueno btw:eek:?

I'm not sure what you want me to say. I've played LMA Manager 2004 on my PS2 for 6 hours, I'm guilty of that.

I watch J-League Weekly (still on Sky Sports too?) and the occasional match at ridiculous o'clock due to the occasional bet, I also keep an eye on the national team due to my time over there.

I've commented on Konoplyanka enough times in enough games in the (past) superthread, probably more posts on him from myself over posters here combined I'd dare say.

I also don't follow morons like ITK's on Twitter when it comes to football, especially the more obscure leagues which helps. World Soccer magazine is quite good too.

Cerci I reckon will stay in Italy. Immobile is hopefully BVB bound, though Atleti stand in the way of that now. The player wants BVB though according to Kicker and Kicker is the most trust worthy source or anything Bundesliga related.

i like to see us going for Sanchez or Cuadrado in the attacking third.Adriano would be good LB option too.

Lol, Rodgers has a hopeless transfer record. Ye are screwed. Dream on with your fantasy signings. You'll be searching the wheelie bins as per usual.
