Yeah, MOTM for me. He's a monster for his age. Fantastic talent. Very exciting to see how Rodgers will bring him through.

Youngsters together now look more cohesive now than the mix with first teamers that had been on in the first half.

Well that's hardly a surprise - these guys all know each other game

Ibe the stand out (bar his finishing) but that's nothing that some time won't fix (see Sterling), the rest are all tidy, composed players. The issue is knowing what to do with them all - another year in the U21s/loans/promote to the first team - lots of decisions to be made.

I'd say Gerrard, like most professional footballers, would be fairly immune to abuse at this stage. Particularly, light hearted banter like this.

Very lively in first half. Lots of energy and running out of him especially considering he's been a big part of a survival/relegation battle.
Faded a bit in the second half after taking his goal really well.

Robbo isn't even on the Bench? I guess that means Brad Smith has now Jumped over him in the Pecking Order.

I'm kinda Iffy about Robbo's Future at Liverpool. I guess you could say the same for Suso. Both have Talents, but Players are Card Magnets.

I mean, most of us were Frothing in the Mouth against Jonjo, for his Rash Tackles. But not even he, can Compete against those 2, when it comes to the Yellows and Reds.

At least with Robbo, you can have a Sort of Excuse. Since he's a Defender, and Blackpool's Defense as a Whole, is just Comical.

But Suso? The Amount of Red Cards and Yellow Cards he accumulated as a Winger, is just Diabolical. I dread to think what he'd get, when he's playing as a Midfielder. Since I don't think he has a Chance to make the Cut here, as a Winger.

Iff Giggs had played in the teams Gerrard has played in, you can be pretty sure that Giggs wouldnt have any trophies at all. Thats how good Gerrard is and has been for Liverpool.

I have to say I'm coming round a bit to the potential Lallana signing, after reading some opinions on here and the article in the Echo.

He does seem a player who would hopeful be able to fit in straight away - he is the right 'type' for our team, fluid, fast and hardworking. It's important to have new signings who can hit the ground running and I see no reason why Lallana couldn't do that in a league he now knows well.

I suppose in today's market 20m isn't a hugely surprising figure to be touted, but I hope anything more than that would be purely performance related bonuses. It still seems a little on the excessive side to me, but I suppose 'smaller' English clubs now have more money than ever and don't quite have the same need to sell as before

Gerard played alongside some terrific players. I think it was towards Rafa's end, Hodgson's reign, Kenny and start of Brendan that the quality in Liverpools team was badly lacking.
