If I was De Gea, I would be in love with him too.

I thought nani/kagawa/mata linked up unbelievably well together when they were on the pitch together. I think our attacking front is pretty amazing. sort out the link between the midfield and the attack line and we will be in a good place.

If you still want him out, why aren't you on here berating him and his tactics now? Or do you only kick a team when they are down?

We're into April and we're 3 points behind Everton who have 2 games in hand and 7 points off 4th place Arsenal who have 1 game in hand. 13 points behind City who have 2 games in hand. The team has also played turgid football for the vast majority of the season.

Considering the quality of the squad he's had to work with, it is totally unacceptable and a sacking offence whatever way I look at it. A park the bus draw at home to Bayern and a 4-0 thrashing of a team devoid of confidence isn't going to change the fact the man is out of his depth.

I see Ole is still offending people:D

"He is not a very nice man, is he?" says Ted
"Jesus, I have never met anyone like him. Who would he be like? Hitler or one of those mad fellas" says Dougal
"Oh he is worse then Hitler, you would not see Hitler walking away from a question in a interview" says Ted

    I mean its been 2 weeks now....:pac:

Remember the one after Liverpool game if they win the league? he walked away.

    ----

Anyway, is it time to get nervous about Bayern yet? They lost today I heard. More likely had a 5th choice squad out.

We're the poorest team you've played this season i'd be willing to bet.

I missed the game but I can't imagine they were worse than Fulham, who, based on the match I saw, are the worst Premier League team I've seen.

I was just agreeing with you in my head there that fulham were far and away the worst prem team id ever seen when i realised that they were playing us that day - and we drew 2-2....

    Sigh...

Sorry to but in hrre lads during all the man love talk. Great to see abit of confidence about the team and mata upping his game. Fellaini doesnt look motivated to even jump though.
Has there been any news on what was in fletchers note? Was it a staged thing to show people moyes does use tactics or what?

Nani probably doesn't have great English. Mourinho used to do it all the time.

Ah he couldnt trust nanis english to relay the message. Ah I see.

If people are honestly suggesting that a manager of Moyes experience (10years+ in the English game) "Doesn't use tactics" (whatever that means) and pulled the paper thing as a stunt to trick people that he does, you can be sure that they are spoofers of the highest degree good sir/ma'am.

Im not suggesting he doesnt Im suggesting he did it to display to the idiots that he does. Im very pro moyes and think he needs the time some other managers wouldnt have needed. But I think long term hes the better option rather than a two year success guy who wants a new squad followed by another two year guy that wants a new squad and so on. Its better for youth coming through and money saving.
I also think the struggles he is facing is slowly shipping out alot of this crowd and I do think a few of them refuse to play his way atall. I think thats why it looks sometimes like they have no tactics. Every big name he drops he loses value on and risks the crowd turning. He needs to build his team. Van persie being injured is (terrible to say) a headache solver for him I reckon.

He got the tactics right today, albeit because he decided to rest the players who play his usual useless tactics. Again, that's how it works; he does well, he makes it so people who want him out don't have anything to moan about.

What, you want me to nitpick what went wrong today, or drag up previous performances to continue moaning about him? I gave a personal analysis of the match, pointed out what I thought didn't work, but for the most part we did well today.

Seriously, why is it time and time again, when United win, it's the Pro-Moyes crowd constantly trying to start up trouble? "Where are the real fans now?" "What do you have to say about him now?" **** me, we won today, and with a reserve team who actually played well. Stop being such a buzz killer trying to drag up a fight like that...

As if many of us were going to change our tune on the basis of any good result. Jesus, we're not that fickle. And why are they out of the woodwork trying to provoke a response with stuff like that? Shouldn't beating the likes of Villa and Newcastle be the lowest acceptable standard at the club?

He got it right today, we played well and it was good attacking football which had been missed. More of the same please but it's gonna take a lot more than that for people to change their tune, given that we're 7th and got pumped by Liverpool and City only a couple of weeks ago.

IF we pick a team like today and last week more consistently, keep playing good attacking football and get results with it, people may start to change their tune. However, there's just as many here who expect that wednesday (and any time we play a good side) we'll revert to picking Cleverley, Fellaini, Evra and Valencia after bad, have Kagawa on the bench and just play football the Tony Pulis way again.

Pretty much identical to the last one, though a bit more of a smile :)

Do people think that Nani's English, even after about 7 years in England, isn't enough to pass on a simple football-related message? Dunno about that.

Anyways, Newcastle were poor so hard to get carried away with too many positives. However Mata did play well, poor opposition notwithstanding.
He was pretty feckin' poor in a few of his earlier games, so good to see things are starting to work for him.

Hope Rooney will be available for the Bayern game, United's small chance goes to virtually nil if he's out.

It'll be a terrible shame if he gets sold this summer. Super little player. Should be a 20 game a season man for us for the next 6-8 yrs.

Good to see Nani back. Could be set up for him to make an impact next week. Here's hoping anyway. Redemption following on from the Real game last year.

My big fear for this summer is we sell Nani, Kags, Pea and keep Val, Clev and Young. Based on appearances this year you could see it happening which would be a disaster.
