He definitely did say something along the lines of crossing is in the blood of ManUtd.

Fair enough if he is talking about fast wing play but we have a bunch of shít wingers we would need to replace with the very best which would be stupid considering we already have Mata and Kagawa at the club

I've never once seen him talk about a crossing philosophy. He's a huge admirer of fast, attacking wide play with wingers, think Real with Bale, Di Maria and Ronaldo (hardly stale is it?). The wide play that's traditionally been played at Utd is nothing like the turgid ****e Moyes has us doing.

Ive said it before and Ill say it again, we should sell rvp, a forward line of mata ,rooney and kagawa all interchanging with each other would be class.we basically need 4 worldclass players, 2 central midfielders, a left back and a centre back

    The dream is this

    Dea Gea

    Coleman-Evans/smalling/jones
    Beniata
    shaw

    Kross
    Vidal

    mata
    Kagawa
    Januzai

    Rooney

    Manchester United ‏@ManUtd
Two-goal @JuanMata8 on celebrating his free-kick with De Gea: "David told me before the game that I would score. That's why I ran to him."

It was pretty much the same under Fergie for the last two seasons

No it wasn't. It wasn't particularly good because we have/had ****e wingers but it definitely wasn't the same.

I'm confused, does everyone still want moyes out?
Or are people just waiting till united lose their next game to voice their opinions on that?

The players were better. The play was still get it wide and cross it in.

I m a bit conflicted about the whole thing. After much of what we had endured all season and then the capitulations v Liverpool/City I wanted him gone but at the same time I think the man deserves time . In fairness to him he took over in an impossible situation. He has had no luck with injuries at important times to key players. Arsenal, Liverpool, City, Chelsea, Everton have all upped their game considerably this season also which has exaggerated our fall down the table.

His tactics and a lot of his team selections have been mind boggling but at the same time you cant argue with his record in away games. I know we lost to CIty, Chelsea and Liverpool away but Liverpool are top and they lost away to Arsenal, Chelsea and City.

I think he deserves a chance to clear out a few and bring in new blood and have a proper run at it next season but his tactics and style of play need to improve dramatically.

But if he sells Kagawa, nani and hernandez my opinion will change drastically!

An Everton win tomorrow and it might make a very shakey Arsenal for the last few games.

Still want him out. But what do you want? United win, people lay off him. That's how it works. Still hope he is shown the door, but obviously winning games will take the pressure off him. Not rocket science.

Seriously? 7 new first team starters? Why would we get rid of De Gea for Dea Gea? And Januzaj has played well this season and is going to be a star. Why would we replace him with Januzai? I wouldn't mind but I have not even heard of them.

Kross and Beniata? I don't know these fellas either. I think you're just making these players up as you go along.

He did not take over in an impossible situation, his luck with injuries is no worse than anybody else and the other top teams have not upped their game considerably.

If you still want him out, why aren't you on here berating him and his tactics now? Or do you only kick a team when they are down?

4-0 against a pile of sh1te of a team papered over the cracks,it was painful to watch at times & reminded me of ROI vs The Faroes.

Moments of magic for goals rather than flowing, attacking football which is the tradition for United.Still it was nice to see the ball being passed around rather than launched 50 yards to the wings and trying to knock in hail Mary crosses.

Fletcher > Carrick. His movement, passing & cajoling of his teamates were a step above anything Carrick's offered this season.I posted in the match thread that withing the first few minutes he was calling & gesturing at Evra to get into position & do his job.We have too few players who do this, certain players at times in games need to be shouted at.

He did not take over in an impossible situation, his luck with injuries is no worse than anybody else and the other top teams have not upped their game considerably.

He has had injuries that have kept RVP out for long periods, Rooney had an injury that kept him out of Chelsea, Sunderland in the LC, Carrick had a few periods where he was out. Vidic, Smalling, Jones, Ferdinand, Evans and Rafael have all had periods out. I d class that as a lot of bad luck with injuries. How can you not say other teams have upped their game? Liverpool are hugely improved. Arsenal had a great run until recently. Chelsea are miles better than last season and City are a different team than last year when they were a mess under Mancini. Everton are a serious outfit as well this season. I do think he took over in a tough situation . They had just won the league by 11 points but the squad was need of a lot of work. Most managers take over a team after a disastrous run by the previous manager. Moyes too over from a legend who bowed out at the top. The only way was down

Probably because Moyes has yet to prove the more stylish quick play is plan A and prove that he can put a side together who can go out and control a game on the front foot at home. As seen already playing away has suited his methods better this season.

Personally I think his plan is to get certain players in so he can change from this seasons plan A but I don't think the people who want Moyes gone really need to defend that opinion based on a game like today.

The players were better. The play was still get it wide and cross it in.

It really wasn't, that's like saying lumping a long ball up through the middle is the same as quick interplay through the middle because they both go through the middle. Yes crossing was always a big part of our game, it always will be when you play with traditional wingers but it was always done at pace, with aggressive runs that pulled defenders all over the place and never let them get settled. That's the complete opposite of what Moyes has us doing this year. Under him it's just been get it wide, usually as slow as possible and with little variation and then lump it in to a packed and organised defence.

I really don't see how anyone can say wing play is stale when you look at the likes of Real or Bayern under Heynckes last year. Under Fergie since 09 the problem was the players, not the system.

He got the tactics right today, albeit because he decided to rest the players who play his usual useless tactics. Again, that's how it works; he does well, he makes it so people who want him out don't have anything to moan about.

What, you want me to nitpick what went wrong today, or drag up previous performances to continue moaning about him? I gave a personal analysis of the match, pointed out what I thought didn't work, but for the most part we did well today.

Seriously, why is it time and time again, when United win, it's the Pro-Moyes crowd constantly trying to start up trouble? "Where are the real fans now?" "What do you have to say about him now?" **** me, we won today, and with a reserve team who actually played well. Stop being such a buzz killer trying to drag up a fight like that...

I was happy to set my targets earlier in the season in Sept/Oct based on our rubbish start. Looks like he'll fail but you never know I suppose, maybe we'll win the rest of our games and Arsenal implode etc.

I don't form my opinion based on one game.

Nice play at times. Chico, Mata and Kagawa I thought played well together.

Goals were lovely, but we were nothing special either.

Still though 0-4 away from home is always good days work.

When the bull is sleeping at the back of the trawler, do not let the seagulls wave red flags in his face.
