With a fan base like ours unfortunately we are going to have our fair share of muppets, it started in 1994 when the bandwagonners joined, and the press are going to jump all over every little story. Mind you arguably the biggest eejit of them all is the manager.

It's ok,if United do get rid of Moyes,we'll get Ancellotti.

I thought he was older than he is,he's only a couple of years older than Moyes.

    Is Ancelotti leaving Madrid?

I really don't understand why people are saying this. He is 3 points off the top of the league and are huge favorites in the quarters of the Champions League.

And he'll definitely be sacked if he doesn't win either and probably be sacked if he only wins one.

It's easy to understand why people are suggesting it, a quick look through Madrid's history with regards their treatment of managers tells you all you need to know.

That said, they've shown signs of change by giving Mourinho 3 years and I think it's unlikely they'll sack Ancelotti within the next year.

Shows different expectations between United and Real.

Think Moyes would have lasted this long at Real?

I LOL'd at the thought of Moyes at Real Madrid !

No it doesn't. And Real's managerial merry-go-round has hardly led to European or even La Liga domination.

It's funny. Despite United's sh*tshow of a season and rival fans loving every minute of it, I never actually felt we were a laughing stock until today and the plane fiasco. Just have a look in the match thread.

Yes, the plane is what tips us over the edge

You do realise most of the posts in there are by Liverpool fans? They even started it just to stir things.

Yeah actually it is. Teams do badly from time to time and you may have to take some slagging for it, welcome to being a football fan. Of course rival fans will enjoy it, let them. This plane thing has them rolling in the aisles though.

If it wasn't the plane, it would be something else; the "Tactical Genius" banner, taunts about how Bayern will kill us, etc.

Honestly though, I really couldn't care less what other fans think of us and I can never wrap my head around why it bothers people so much, to the extent we're afraid to sack a drastically incompetent manager because other fans would think badly of us.

**** what other fans think about us, it should be about doing whats best for the club, and imo right now that's getting Moyes away from it. The banner shows he doesn't have the full support of the fans and imo will put another nail into his coffin.

What sickens me is that the team we field today could easily be challenging for the title now using the right tactics

Yep. His time is wasted at United. Moyes only gives him 15 minutes max as a sub. Its ridiculous. A good manager could use him brilliantly with Mata and Kagawa. Moyes just doesn't know what he's doing.

David Moyes just doesn't know what to do with strikers. Thats an accusation that followed him from Everton and as far as I am concerned it has held true.

At Everton he had no history whatsoever at being able to sign and develop strikers. At United he has Robin Van Persie playing ****e, Rooney and Van Persie have forgotten how to pass to each other, and Chico might as well be sitting on a beach somewhere for all the gametime he gets.

Tell you what, if I was a world class attacker and David Moyes came looking to sign me I wouldn't even answer the phone. The man doesn't know what to do with attackers.

I'd say if Moyes is fired before the summer, Chico might stay around and take his chances under the new manager

He seems to genuinely like being at Man United, just needs more game time

Easily challenging for the title is probably a bit ott but certainly 10 points better off.

Is that you Juan Mata? Reflecting on your choices I see

He gave him a damn sight more than Moyes is.

Last year if I recall RVP was virtually injury free all season, same as rooney.

This season both Rooney and RVP have been out injured for considerable periods, often both together, and Chico still doesn't get a sniff.

Chico has complained way too much for my liking in the press probably a big reason why he is on the bench more often then not.

Hernandez playing more wouldn't have made much difference.

In a better performing side he would have played more because better opportunities would have been available where your best players don't need to be on the field. That is Moyes fault alright.

It's not Moyes fault that Hernandez isn't as good as Rooney & RVP or that Welbeck when needed performed well (even though Moyes can't get strikers playing right?).
