lol, he has the 'verified account' tick perfectly placed in the background image, haven't seen that before

edit: never mind, the tick is gone now but it made the account look like it was verified, which is probably why he got followers quickly. it's fake obviously.

Be interesting to see how the players react when the papers basically have "Moyes: Ye are all s***!" on them. Sure it'll motivate them well to play for him. :pac:

A lot of it was deleted by mods, the thread was started by a Liverpool fan then the guys who cause all the hassle we see in match threads turned up and it became a farce. You wouldn't see as much Obsession in a perfume shop.

We are not in our current situation purely thrru bad tactics

Last season so many games were won by one scrappy goal and a lot of luck was ridden. I'm not saying that it makes what's happened acceptable but I would definitely lay a lot of blame at Fergie's door. The tactics have been terrible for years, players not knowing where each other were going bar the odd combination. With an already aging squad given that extra year a drop off would have to be expected in some ways. The powers that be, Moyes, Fergie, Woodward and Gill were too complacent about the changeover. I think Moyes actually showed too much respect to Everton in the Summer, working right up to the end of his contract and the changeover jas clearly not impacted them too much.

Moyes also clearly hadn't seen much of United before he came. He went on a lot of Fergie's recommendations which may have been wrong because of his lack of training ground input in his later years. Anyone who's watched United the last few years could see how bad Valencia was, yet he persisted with him, and in big games. I think he also bought into a lot of the bullshìt rhetoric of the club such as you have to play with a 4-4-2 with wingers. I think he felt too pressured to appease the higher ups rather than impart his mentality on the team. I mean, a Moyes team that doesn't work hard is absolutely ridiculous to me, seeing Fellaini strolling around the other night was so shocking to see. I think a lot of the older players were already looking forward to their retirement or final payday and felt they'd already won all they wanted in their careers.

I don't know where he can go from here, the players that come in would have to work for him but the players there woukd have to buy into it too. There doesn't seem to be a danger to the players, they can put in the non interested performances week after week and still play. I said a few weeks ago that I'd prefer once the CL is gone to drop everyone and play the academy players and I'd still have that mentality. Moyes has to get the player's respect or attention somehow and he's running out of time to make a statement.

    Bang on !

don't come in here too often, mainly because of the bullsh1t. moyes has lost 90% of the fans but i wont boo him or the team. Thats kicking a man when he is down and the team need the fans more than ever right now.

I honestly dont think fergie was too good tactically but he was the best man manager i ever came across. this is what gave utd the never say die attitude and that unbelievable hatred of dropping points.

We are not dropping points these days because of tactics alone, it is a lot to do with man management and players lack of respect of moyes. The players would have died for fergie but that is gone.

Cheer up, lads! At least we will win tomorrow. Just take Tuesday as it comes and enjoy that there is no pressure on United. I love it when we're underdogs. I could never dread a match, like some of you do. I look forward to all of them.

I've always been optimistic but this is about the 7 th or 8 th time After a win this season I get confident going into a big game and its always disappointment, I just can't see a result midweek

A result tomorrow is an absolute must to give the lads a boost.
I'm hoping we can keep a clean sheet on tuesday and put pressure on munich.
They are are serious outfit though.

One thing I don't like with Moyes is that he keeps chopping and changing the team. As soon as they play a good match he makes 3-4 changes for the next one. I'm behind him, though, and am confident he'll do better next season.

Supporters have been behind the team.

Supporters are the last of the worries on the club bar the daft fools behind the plane.

On a lighter note, another Bebe cracker and a somewhat surprising stat...

    cfTg.gif
Bebé is joint top scorer (together with Rafael Martins) in the Portuguese League in 2014 with 7 goals. Rodrigo 3rd with 6.
