God it's depressing that those kind of scores could happen

Zoom off to fantasy land Moyes will knock Bayern out run the length of the Allianz arena with arms out wide like an airplane and then stone cold stunner Pep

Hard to disagree with any of that.

I remember some thinking Spurs would challenge for PL this year.

Did think they would do better.

Being so far behind Arsenal though is embarrassing.

only one season though out of how many? 2 or 3 world class signings in the summer and it will all change next season..

Moyes will have us challenging for 4th with 2 or 3 world class players but do we really aspire to be Arsenal of recent seasons?

We need 4 or 5 real good players.

2 CM, CB and LB is the least we require.

Cover for RB and maybe a striker if Chico goes.

Dont be fooled into thinking we are not far off the pace.

i agree 100% but we need 2-3 "world class" players and then a couple more additions to the squad, good squad players..

If its Paddy Power ill purchase a Bazuka and ****ing down the plane myself.

Getting sick to my hole at their smarmy digs at United. It's a daily basis now, i could have sworn earlier they tweeted Fellaini being investigated and facing a potential ban saying something like "RESULT! Fellaini charged by the FA and could face a ban".... don't see it now though mind so must have been taken down or i'm going mad.

yes but in the real world you are not gonna get 4-5 world class players in one summer...even real madrid wouldnt get 4-5 in one summer.

a world class centre mid and centre defender, then someone like luke shaw and an other

Moyes: "I think that if Sir Alex was here this year it would be difficult for him as well and he would be aware of that."

Throwing Sir Alex under the bus... not a lot of tact, has he?

Watch though as a certain group turn on the man who gave us 25 years of success in favour of supporting a man who has brought 9 months of misery...

No one man is bigger than the club....except David Moyes as some would have you believe.

I'm told splits may (finally) be emerging between SAF and Glazers. Not surprising after his loyalty if they try to dump blame on him
    MUST

Strange stuff if there's any truth

Last season so many games were won by one scrappy goal and a lot of luck was ridden. I'm not saying that it makes what's happened acceptable but I would definitely lay a lot of blame at Fergie's door. The tactics have been terrible for years, players not knowing where each other were going bar the odd combination. With an already aging squad given that extra year a drop off would have to be expected in some ways. The powers that be, Moyes, Fergie, Woodward and Gill were too complacent about the changeover. I think Moyes actually showed too much respect to Everton in the Summer, working right up to the end of his contract and the changeover has clearly not impacted them too much.

Moyes also clearly hadn't seen much of United before he came. He went on a lot of Fergie's recommendations which may have been wrong because of his lack of training ground input in his later years. Anyone who's watched United the last few years could see how bad Valencia was, yet he persisted with him, and in big games. I think he also bought into a lot of the bullshìt rhetoric of the club such as you have to play with a 4-4-2 with wingers. I think he felt too pressured to appease the higher ups rather than impart his mentality on the team. I mean, a Moyes team that doesn't work hard is absolutely ridiculous to me, seeing Fellaini strolling around the other night was so shocking to see. I think a lot of the older players were already looking forward to their retirement or final payday and felt they'd already won all they wanted in their careers.

I don't know where he can go from here, the players that come in would have to work for him but the players there woukd have to buy into it too. There doesn't seem to be a danger to the players, they can put in the non interested performances week after week and still play. I said a few weeks ago that I'd prefer once the CL is gone to drop everyone and play the academy players and I'd still have that mentality. Moyes has to get the player's respect or attention somehow and he's running out of time to make a statement.

What do they mean "cover Moyes sacking"?

That they want an excuse to sack him and want the players and fans to let it be known they want him gone so they have said excuse?
