We now have match Thread devoted to it too:D.

So they were flying in here to open one.

Be nice if Nani could start tomorrow. Just to see what he looks like if nothing else.

That's the second United match thread in the last few weeks started by a Liverpool fan... not including the Liverpool game.
I think they get strung out on United games :pac:

From sky re the second bbanner..
More bad banner news for underfire United boss David Moyes. Another banner, trailed from a different plane, will be flown over Old Trafford at the same time as the fans' 'Wrong One - Moyes Out' .

It is understood that a high-street bookmaker is behind the second banner. The bookmaker is refusing to reveal the message their plane will drag across the skies, but it is understood to not be favourable towards the Scot.

2 non supportive banmers.. pathetic doesnt do it justice

Ahh ok I was just reading how the World Cup grounds will be no fly zones and thought it would be the norm where there is a huge gathering of people

the biggest show of discontent the fans have with moyes would be,instead of hiring a fckin plane to fly over the stadium with a banner, just make a public showing of removing 'THE CHOSEN ONE' banner, with the whole crowd applauding it.

message well and truly sent then.

Surely a plane is bad enough without putting slogans on the footballs too!

Moyes in Moyes out, shake it all about

My humble opinion is that this airplane stunt in very bad taste and sets a dangerous precedent. Genuinely feel for Moyes and his family (especially Lauren) even if he is terrible.

You know what you are right.

**** it! we shouldn't sack him either. Might hurt his feelings....

    De Gea

    Rafael Jones Vidic Buttner

    Val Carrick Giggs Fellaini Welbeck

    Rooney

As good as we got for the Bayern game?

    Are all these guys available?

Moyes might favour Tom over Fellaini. Kagawa in the centre would be worth a shot, but better off with Danny out left than Kagawa.

There is no need to humiliate him. The fans' discontent is fairly clear to the United board at this point.

If anything he's getting off lightly. If given the choice of a plane flying over the stadium for a few minutes before the game, organised by a group of keyboard warriors or a section of the actual match going crowd chanting they want you out...
I know which one I'd brush off easier.

He hasn't done anything to deserve abuse or humiliation. If anything he has been overly respectful of the fans.

I'd almost guarantee he won't be anywhere near Old Trafford tomorrow either. Shocking behaviour.

It comes with the job if you're not up to it, I'm sure his millions of pounds will ease the pain.

While I don't think Moyes will work out personally I've been wrong before about managers.
I find it a little surprising just how many United fans are so keen for his sacking so quickly given the history lesson of United's last manager. Alex Ferguson's United had finished 11th the year before, he'd been at United a couple of years at that stage and they had shown promise a couple of seasons before but fell back into the pack, and at this stage in 1990 were sitting in 16th.

I wonder how many of the fans here would have wanted him gone at that stage? 90% at least I'd imagine.

People will point to what Ferguson had done before in Scotland but realistically that is impossible today for any manager outside of a big club.

Again I state that I don't think he is going to work out but to be fair he was left with a mammoth task as regards replacing an aging squad and another mammoth in replacing a legendary manager who had spent 27 years at the helm and won all around him.

Those people who are attempting to have a plane fly over tomorrow are the type of football fan I despise. They want it all and they want it now, just like a spoiled child. But I suppose that is to be expected because the younger United fans were spoiled rotten.
