Saw a Macbook Pro i7 for €700 in a shop on Parnell street. Too good to be true?

It was one of those shops along Parnell street that sell second hand devices and what not. Saw a macbook in the window, looked to be in pretty good nick, so I asked about it and was stunned at the low price. I asked about the specs and all I remember was the i7 processor, and I think 6 or 8GB ram.

So there has to be something more to this, right? I'm currently looking to buy a new machine and €700 is by far the cheapest I've come across for a macbook. Just wondering if I should bite the bullet and buy it, or if any of you have had experience with stores like these, etc.

Seems like a decent price alright but what screen size was it? Also it could be an older model, not sure but I think the i7 processors were introduced around 2010 or later. I've an i7 in my early 2011 MBP. And it's most likely 8GB of Ram unless it was aftermarket ram installed. Seems like a good price but I'd make sure I knew everything I could before I handed over any money.

go back and get the model/serial if you can, ask to see it working and check about this mac for the OSX version and spec, then cross check it against the model number online.
