David Moyes could be forgiven for starting to think things were starting to turn around after a fantastic performance defeating Olympiakos 3-0 sealing his sides place in the quarter finals of the champions league and a battling display against a invigorated West Ham side on Saturday defeating Allardyces side 2-0,
However it has today emerged that Manchester United are looking towards the future and that future looks to be without David Moyes. The Glazers are believed to be looking to act early and appoint Louis Van Gaal as the next manager of Manchester United before he agrees a deal with Totthenham after missing out on deals for Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho in the summer. The Glazers are unwilling to pay the remaining 5 years of Moyes contract which they would be legally obliged to pay if they were to sack him.Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward met with the Glazers on Sunday morning to discuss solution's to this problem and they decided the best way to move forward would be to send Moyes on loan with his most likely destination being Peterborough.

Peterborough are currently in 6th place in league one and looking to secure promotion back to the championship.
"David would be a fantastic coup for the club,I have spoken to Darren Ferguson and he understands that this is a massive opportunity for the club to attract a mid table premier league manger to a club in league one" Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony told FW.

It is unclear how long the length of the loan will be and how much Peterborough will pay Manchester United.

I fancy that United team to beat that Bayern team, ballack even in his prime wouldnt get into the current Bayern team
Where are you getting that notion, Ballack in his prime would get into any team

Then you didn't see Ballack in his prime.

Instead of the 4-2-3-1 formation , do ye guys not think 4-3-3 is a better system?

Next season I wouldn't mind if RVP was sold and we had a front 3 of Rooney Mata and Kagawa all interchanging with each other , behind them we would need Fellaini and 2 world class central midfielder's to be signed, with Carrick Cleverley and Fletcher either benched or sold

To play a system like this we would probably need 2 world class pacey wing backs, I'm not Rafaels biggest fan and I would love us to sign Coleman but we have greater needs elsewhere in defence such as a new centre back and a new left back but I'd worry if we don't go in for Coleman this year someone else will

So lads here's what I'm hoping we start the new season with

    Dea Gea

    Coleman---Jones/Evans/Smalling
    New World Class CB
    Shaw

    Fellaini
    Kroos
    Calvalho

    Mata
    Rooney
    Kagawa

Would ye be happy with this?

For a start there is no realistic hope of Kroos leaving Germany this summer, secondly if you were Seamus Coleman or Luke Shaw at end of season would you turn down the bright lights of London for the second best squad in Manchester,(and I say that as a Utd fan).

FFS they are footballers not celebrities/socialites .Not everyone wants to live in London.
Dont think Shaw or Kroos will join United and Coleman isnt really needed or a priority.

    Evra, I'm guessing.

But it should be Buttner. He needs games and the more difficult the opposition, the better. We're going to be relying on him against Bayern.

I've noticed Neville seems to be against the type of football most in here and myself want to see us playing.

He's always banging on about wingers when they have a good game and talking about the 'philosophy'.

@GNev2: “@YesConor: @GNev2 Even if the philosophy becomes somewhat outdated?”

RM tonight outdated!Barca were freaks mate and have conned the masses

Madrid created 4 to 5 clear cut chance just with crossing the ball. I think it's just not about crossing but the movement of the attackers and the will to attack the ball matters most, not to mention quality of crosses. Even Bayern scored so many goals by crossing the ball last season.

I would kill for a player like Di Maria playing for us. 81 Crosses from that man would be an actual worthwhile tactic.
