This type of posting is not doing you any favours and all it does is to wind up other posters. Cut it out.

As for everyone else who keeps bringing up the whole "Bangkok hasn't missed a game you know." line, you should also cut it out. I won't hesitate to yellow card the next poster who does so.

Assuming Giggs will start as well, might be worth giving him some game time as well.

He's 40. I doubt he will start two games in close succession, especially as he played the full 90 last night.

Bullshít false positivity that grates on everybody who has had to put up with an awful season of football from United.

Again, whats wrong with positivity ? if the players showed half the positivity and self belief as some of the fans perhaps united would be in a better position, there are plenty of positives to take from the season even if winning game after game is not one of them.

    Work Rate.......confidence....etc etc :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Honestly, who the **** died and made you king of the United Thread, if anything your above post and elitism is beyond cringe worthy. You should take a leaf out of your own book and pipe down, you're just an embarrassment at this stage.

I know you are sore over whatever previous arguments we have had, but your constant moaning about how you think I behave on the thread is tiresome and pointless.

When somebody spouts off about how they predicted a United win, when they predict a United win in every United game, then they deserve to be called on it. I'm not going to stop doing that just because it makes you cringe or whatever. Same as how I'm not going to write "imo" in every sentence I include an opinion (what you were looking for me to do the last time you talked to me).

If you dislike my posts so much then you really should stop reading them, because I guarantee I'm going to keep annoying the fúck out of you with them.

maybe I wont predict in future but its easy to slag someone off after the event.... damned if you do damned if ya don't. and the whole haven't missed a game in 20 year was taken quiet literally. in the last 15-20 years I honestly could count on 1 hand how many united games ive missed....

I'm not willing to engage in such a stupid argument. You haven't even bothered to write proper sentences (the second paragraph), so it's obvious you haven't thought about this enough to form a fully fleshed out argument.

Slagging someone off after the event is exactly what you were doing.

Was talking to a lad in work about this earlier. With BVB's injuries I'd give united a 50/50 chance against them if we play well. My next favourite team would be Atletico, but that says more about the strength of the remaining teams in the draw than any weakness on Atleti's part. Anyone else care to weigh in with their preferred draw tomorrow?

yes lots of injuries, lewandowski suspended, crowd getting on the players backs now at home games, 23 or 24 points off top spot in Germany....seen how bad Leverkusen and schalke were already this year

Dortmund seems like our best chance of getting through.

Do they do the semi final draw as well tomorrow I can't remember?

If we got Dortmund and Atleti v PSG was the other game that's the best chance of getting to the final right there.

Chelsea, Bayern, Madrid and Barca in the other. I think Mourinho and co could knock one of those teams out, but Pep is his nemesis so hopefully someone else knocks them out first.

If we were at our best, I'd love to see us draw PSG or a Madrid rematch. However, we're not so Dortmund offer us the best chance of going through. We'd have to perform a lot better than we have so far this season, but I wouldn't rule us out.

Regardless of the draw, if we repeat that shambles in Greece, it's curtains.

Draw on April 11th for the semis.

I would want to get Dortmund, PSG, Chelsea, Athletico, Barca, Bayern, Real in that order. Dortmund and PSG (to an extent) are beatable. I then just listed in order who I think would beat us by the least amount. I would be terrified of Bayern or Real, they would love to play our back 4.

It's gonna be the toughest game for United in Europe this season regardless.

Welbeck, Rooney, RvP, Carrick, De Gea, Rafael are sure to start I think.

The defence will almost pick itself with Evra's suspension, and injuries leaving little choices, other than maybe Buttner to LB.

Who to put CM with Carrick, Giggs, Fellaini, Fletcher, Cleverley?

Who to put out wide, Valencia, Young, Adnan, Kagawa?

It seems that those with CL experience are favoured over those that don't, so I could see Fletcher getting the CM spot ahead of Cleverley, and Giggs depending on home / away / opposition.

    Order of prerference:

    Borussia Dortmund (GER)
    Paris Saint-Germain (FRA)
    Chelsea FC (ENG)
    Club Atlético de Madrid (ESP)

    FC Barcelona (ESP)
    Real Madrid CF (ESP)
    FC Bayern München (GER)

I`d like to avoid Athletico nearly as much as Madrid, Munich and Barcelona.
cant see us getting past Chelsea either. PSG would be very tough!

So, eh Dortmund looks like our best shot by a mile, with PSG my second choice.

Is this the first year in CL history that the 8 group winners are in the QF?

Agreed. No lewandowski for the first leg anyway, and with his impending move to Bayern I don't believe he'd be as up for it as he could be. PSG would be another one you wouldn't mind seeing. They've a good squad but not as good as the likes of Barca, Madrid, or Bayern.

This is the first time the 8 top seeds have both topped their groups and made the QFs I think.

He did, but I think it was only his first. I'm not 100% about that though.

Evra was the only starter with a yellow. Not sure about the subs.

He has a great opportunity now to focus 100% on preparing for the 1/4 finals. The league games could be used as preparation for the 1/4 finals. They should be able to play without pressure now in the League, with the exception of the City game! :pac:

    I'd like to get Bayern

And during the home leg, everyone in the stadium provided with a small square sign reading "Help us Toni, you're our only hope"
