Awesome, another record for Moyes to break :(

Said the same myself when I saw that on SSN yesterday plus the chance for another United old boy to get a result against us,Roy Carroll could be joining that ever growing list from this season.

It's easy to forget how the first leg went, 60% possession, 1 shot on target, pointless crossing

    I'm expecting the worst

If the result is overturned tonight it wont mean very much - at the end of the day its a no-mark Greek side coming to OT - not the likes of Bayern Munich. Hearing people rattling on about great European nights at OT - but in no way should this be counted as one if we end up qualifying.

    gents....forgive me for being pessimistic

what happens if we lose tonight?? Could happen!!!

Surely Moyes then has to be in serious trouble

    prediction for tonight

3-1 win out on away goals again!!! we never ever come out on the right side of away goals..

    expecting a team of

    DDG
    Rafael-Ferdinand-Jones-Evra
    Cleverly-Fletch-Carrick
    Rooney-Fellaini
    RVP

don't ask me why i think he'd pick that team!!!

If we get to the QF in the Champions League it will make it a great night no matter who we beat to get there.

He HAS to go if that record is broke. If we lose tonight that should be the turning point for the fans to say enough is enough surely to god..

Ross Barkely compares training under Moyes to Martinez:

"Roberto Martinez has come in and given everyone confidence. He's a positive man and doesn't say anything negative," Barkley said.

"He's similar to David Moyes as they both like to take over the training session and be the main man but Martinez is more tactical.

"We do a lot more tactical work which is good for me because I'm young and still learning."

I honestly don't think and dearly hope we couldn't be as bad as the first leg again. Despite how poor we've been all season, that game was worst of the lot by a long shot.
We couldn't be as bad again. Right? There's no way we could, right?

Won't get to see the game tonight,a possible blessing in disguise.

The odd time I go to breakingnews, but lately the site seems to have taken to reporting twitter stories to troll united fans.
Guess I'll just add them to the list of sites I don't bother viewing

I can accept United losing any game, but losing and showing absolutely no desire and a severe lack of effort (see Olympiacos away, Liverpool home) is completely unacceptable.

Rooney, Chicharito, Fletcher, Fellaini, Rafael, Vidic...... I'd pick the players who are battlers. I don't care if it's a scrap. I don't care if we don't win, as long as the players look like they give a sh*t and run their nuts off for the cause.

Carrick has been in woeful form. Van Persie (even though his service has been sh*te), his attitude is exactly what we don't need. He doesn't show any fighting spirit and just looks like a frustrated figure. At least Chicharito will run himself into the ground for the cause.

The best post in the history blog to date. This is the period that United came from being known as Newton Heath thanks to being almost bankrupt and washed up. Good sign for potential improvement from where we are now I suppose.

There seems to be an air of despair in this thread and a nearly hoping United don't qualify from some fans. I think thats a wrong attitude to have, I think you should be hoping that you win and somehow manage to have a great run in the ECL. I know its not likely that you are going to win it but you just never know for sure.

Personally I think United will turn things around tonight but I don't see them going any further than the next round. I do think Moyes should have been sacked already and people blaming players for not putting in the effort are wrong imo. If they are not putting in the effort its the manager's fault imo, at the end of the day he is responsible for everything that happens on the football field regarding tatics, formation and the workrate of the players.

    Read this last night,

    http://www.prideofalleurope.com/2014/03/so-united-arent-a-sacking-club-dont-you-believe-it/
A couple of semi-final appearances went some way to easing the pain, but the United board soon grew impatient, deciding not to adopt the, “He needs time to stamp his authority on the club,” approach that we’ve seen at Old Trafford this year. McGuinness was relinquished of his duties as first team manager in December 1970 after just one full season in charge.

Can only pray that the same realization is found at the end of tonight (depending on result) or the end of the season when things go quite at OT.

The banner is causing a lot of sh!t with fans
can ANYONE with a ticket in Stretford Tier 2 please reply or inbox us please. We're taking that banner down, by force if needed. #MUFC

You know, I almost don't want to win tonight in order to get Moyes out. I backed him even after the Fulham and Olympiacos results, but when I seen pretty much our best team lose in the manner as it did against Liverpool, I said his time has to be up. I like him and his desire to achieve success but we are going nowhere ATM.

Eamon Holmes on Irish radio wants Moyes gone and Bruce or Rednapp in.

surprised he is calling for Moyes head.

How many times in the last 15 years have we been to the QF of the CL? I would have thought that would be par for the course at the start of the season - i.e. Moyes expected objectives would be top 4 finish and get to the CL QFs and anything after such as a trophy is a bonus.

He was crucifying him on Twitter on Sunday. Surprising given how friendly he is with SAF

Story of the season and a short post that sums everything up for me.
Moyes failure to react is astonishing.

Off the top of my head..

    YES:
    Rooney
    De Gea
    Rapheal
    Mata
    Vidic

    NOT SO:
    Januzaj
    Carrick
    Jones
    Fellani

    Taking the piss:
    Evra
    Van Persie
    Moyes

I can see what's going to happen, the Greeks will get a goal and a bunch of píssed off fans will try and take it down during the match, fights breaking out and United being made into an even bigger laughing stock than we already are.

    Eamonn Holmes ‏@EamonnHolmes Mar 16
What will it take before somebody at Man United ends this death by a thousand home defeats ? We all know what has to be done - just do it.
