    absolutely wrong.

while the song is distasteful, it is a lie that it ever referenced hillsborough.

What do you think the song represents and how are you so sure?

we're talking about the murderers chant?

    if so it's heysel.

united support has been aware for years that liverpool are choosing that to refer to hillsborough so they can be outraged.

same goes for won it 3 times.

there are hillsborough songs though, we all know that. Just not refering to murderers.

Why is there a reference to The S*n newspaper in the chant if its about Heysel?

There's defo something weird going on. Fergies departure was such a monumental event it caused a rip in the space time continuum or something.

Don't believe me? Liverpool challenging for the title, Aberdeen winning trophies, I've even seen teenagers wearing stone washed denim and boot runners. The 80's are back people, let's all start swaping mix tapes!

    .

did you find it hard to keep a straight face whilst typing the above.

I have read some bizarre things on Internet forums but that takes the biscuit.

even if you take the current context out of the discussion and re-read the above paragraph its actually still fűcking bizarre.

    Put down the shovel pal.

    embarrasing stuff.

look take a step back will ya.

you are trying to stand up two disgusting songs about tragedies against each other, and trying to justify one over the other. Like WTF????

Hate these arguments about songs referencing Heysel, Munich, Hillsborough or whatever....
They are all spiteful hateful songs and any little cnut singing one of them should be identified, named and never let into another ground.

How some posters can find ways to find argument in them with others is just staggering. You can actually agree with opposition team supporters you know.

Seems Leftist likes his Soviet level propaganda.

Leftist isn't going to answer that question. I'll leave it at that.

ironic that you mentioned the word ignorance

listen you silly child. that song is about hillsborough.

it references the headline in the sun newspaper claiming that the liverpool fans on that day where murderers as they pick pocketed urinated on and kicked the people who died.

liverpool fans or any fans that sing songs about munich are pathetic but do not justify a tit for tat response. the songs about hilsborough the very same. hell as you think the song is about heysel, does that make it ok to sing and mock the dead?
there are scumbag fans in every club who use the tragedy of death as a way to get one over on other fans. these people have no place in the game.

so its one of two things

your either a very silly child who knows absolutely f*ck all

    or

your a wum who should be banned from boards for life because of even pretending that its ok to sing songs like that

Paul leave it to the mods or it will be job done for a certain poster.

tbf i agree. all the songs are pathetic. i had to watch the munich anniversary in 2008 surrounded by liverpool supporters signing about munich.

re: oli holt, there could well be a song with reference to the sun.
that's why i asked what song it was.

there can also be variations to songs, like the cheap ira version of fields of athenry.

all of it is sad as ****, but signing about heysel is not as repulsive about signing about hillsborough.

My posting history re: liverpool supporters? such as? Wanna hear this one now, i don't recall going off at them before up to this.

Well off the top of my head there's this one

And i've not heard United fans sing Hillsborough songs, this old one gets thrown in as a sort of tit for tat thing that we do it back yet who's actually heard them? We've never been as bad as them on that level at least. Pool fans have sang Munich songs in numbers before and had Munich 58 banners back in the day. Jesus, there was a few of them caught in a carlsberg ad a few years ago singing them. Fwiw i don't equate songs about Suarez and songs shaming Liverpool for another disaster their own fans perpetrated against innocent spectators as anywhere near on the same level.

Of course you've never heard them, but that's because you've managed to pull off the mental gymnastics to convince yourself that a song that references the Sun somehow isn't meant to be about Hillsborough.

Anyway whatever... back to United. I fully expect us to be knocked out tonight sadly. I think Moyes will stay in place until 4th is gone mathematically (its already gone anyway obv).

Not sure exactly why but I'd like to see Rvp benched start with Rooney up top and Kags :) behind Rooney. We can't keep trying the same thing. I want to see Rooney stay up top as well, none of this running around at RB rubbish.

More importantly, its an incredibly boring topic to have to scroll past. Posters trying to one-up each other in outrage and fake PC horror. Boring.

Just wondering how people would feel about Carlos Queiroz coming in as assistant manager ? Unlikely to happen of course for obvious reasons but he is a great tactician.

Using a human tragedy, one which involves the death of many people, to wind up opposition fans is ****ing pathetic. Anyone who does it is pathetic. Anyone who tries to justify it is pathetic.

is mata playing? lol lets not start that

any ideas on scores tonight lads?? wondering where my bets should go:D

i cant see past a united win at old trafford tbh. prob a clean sheet too.

i said it before the last game that the greek outfit have a great defence and keep a lot of clean sheets at home. but the dont score very many goals on the road (domestically anyway) so im thinking they might get 1 tonight if united mess up but if united are on song tonight it will be a clean sheet.

id be thinking 2-0 united at 90 mins

    any ideas??
