    It's not just about what the neighbours think...its about creating a groundswell of pressure around the team and manager which cannot be a good thing. It would make things even worse, I for one maintain hope they can get better, admittedly it's more hope now.

    I think if that banner came down that would be that for Moyes, the guys who put up the banner shouldn't have that much power but that's modern society.

    On a happier note, Rafael just became a Dad again!

    Read somewhere earlier (think it was Redcafe) that he only got a few hours of sleep before the Liverpool match cause of this. Didnt really read into it, just glanced past it so forgive me if I'm a bit off!

    Can only imagine the opposition songs if that banner goes down!

    Oh believe you me... that song would stick!! Taking it down makes more noise imo.

    It will go down by default when he leaves, hopefully soon

    "Wheres your banner gone.... of the chosen one"

    I wouldn't give a shite about the songs, if we get rid of Calamity, get in a decent manager and start winning again then the songs would be meaningless

    So it's RVPs turn now. Cool.

    It's beyond a joke at this stage.

    Welbeck, Chicharito, Rooney and now RvP have all come in for severe criticism this season and all but Rooney have been nominated for sale (Rooney has just been slatted for being paid too much). It doesn't matter how good a striker is nor how many goals they have scored. Some people just cannot comprehend the idea that a manager can cause a team to play poorly and so they need a player to point the finger at.

    Liverpool fan here, so make of that what you will, but if i were you lads, the problem i'd have with van persie isn't his ability. it's the fact that he looks like he doesn't give a fcuk.

    there was a moment in particular on sunday where he could be seen to just stroll past alan and lucas while they played one touch over and back in the centre circle. If i were moyes i'd have hooked him at that point and told him he could get comfortable cos he's not likely to play again in a hurry.

    It's the same reason i hate adebayor. I can forgive a player for being crap. Being talented but only doing it when it suits is unforgivable in my book though.

    Maybe, just maybe, sometimes a player is actually playing like a sack of crap and its not down to anyone but himself and his own piss poor attitude. I know players are human and they have feelings but if they cant put in a half decent shift because they're upset about their manager, then god love them.

    I know these things can look worse then they are and can be exaggerated, but this comparison of what 10 months. He has aged 10 years never mind 10 months.

    Yeah I'm sure the entire squad of multiple league winners just started playing poorly at the same time as the new manager arriving because coincidence and then continued to play poorly all season because they have piss poor attitudes. That is an intelligent suggestion and I am fully convinced by it.

    Is this what people are bringing up now? :/ He hardly looks different at all. The top one is much poorer quality so you can make out less detail and in the bottom one he's frowning, hence many more wrinkles.

    Worrying comments earlier about Moyes having the full support of the board...we're going to be stuck with this clown until the end of next season aren't we?

    If he is staying, he'll be given a few months with his new signings on board. If things stay the same after having 3 transfer windows to sort it out he'll be a goner because there's nothing left to blame but him.

    We'll probably find out around October

    Although I knew you would be convinced, I better stop you before you go way off track and make a fool of yourself by repeating the above to anyone.

    I'm not saying the entire squad started playing poorly due to having piss poor attitudes. Some of them just aren't capable of producing much more than poor to start with. To use the players you mentioned in your earlier post as examples:
    - Wellbeck just isn't good enough although he seems to have a good attitude which is fortunate as he doesn't have a whole lot of anything else going for him;
    - Chicharito had limited chances but didn't take them and then went mouthing off about how he cant wait for the summer;
    - Rooney, well I'm assuming Rooney's attitude isn't really being debated? When its good, its great and when its bad, its terrible
    - RVP is a current textbook example of a sulking player which, again, I'm assuming isn't really up for debate?

    Some of the others who are playing & have played poorly can be put down to them just being poor players at whatever time we're referring to - Valencia, Evra (also in the doesn't give a **** attitude cool gang), Rio, Vidic (at times), Carrick, Young etc etc

    I'm not for one second trying to absolve Moyes of any blame nor am I saying that he took over a team of duds but to try to claim that players under-performing is purely down to them being human and having feelings and emotions too you know without also blaming the players is laughable.

    LOL. Its even too much for some to accept that he has aged dramatically over the last few months. Its actually laughable.

    I'm personally shocked he suppposedly has the full support of the board at this stage, what the hell are they watching?

    Letting him taint next season would be a bad bad idea. We need to be looking at starting this rebuild asap, not giving him 7 more months to do more damage.

    I agree with that..

    Deep down I think he knows his time is up. I think Board do too. Well I sure hope so.

    But there's no evidence to suggest that. The top pic is probably 360p at best. The bottom is 480-720p and is taken of him while frowning. You can't make out any detail in the above pic due to the poor quality. People are fcuking retarded.

    I made a post in here last night before Kew posted those pics about Moyes looking a shell of the man he was 8 months ago. Some of us think he has aged badly, some of us don't and would argue with our foot.

    Looks older than David Moyes at Man United

    Therefore he is reverse aging!
