Honestly im not sure what your angle is anymore.

Moyes needs time and money and you dont think he can be blamed for the lack of activity in the summer.

He cant be blamed for this farse of the season, he needs time and money even though he has been unable to get the best of the the current squad.

Our players are poorer than last year the and inferior to the rest of our competition.

Your posts do enough to discredit you but the points your making are rage inducing, again the Sunday Supplement ?:confused:

My angle is that you made a post summarizing my opinions with a load of rubbish and bollox. That's my angle.

And what's your problem with the Sunday Supplement? It's not gospel, and I mentioned some points where raised that I agreed with. Like it or lump it, it's a collection of the medias journalists that cover the game in England, some are excellent, some are rubbish. But to disregard some valid points raised by fellas who have a much higher exposure to the PL then most, and on occasions show some good insight, is being daft, and letting yourself miss out on varying opinions and information.

There are guys that appear on that panel some weeks that are highly intelligent and exposed to the game around Europe.

I'd remind you that while alot of people here were flipping out over why Zaha was never getting a chance, the Suppliment had covered it over two different episodes, as early as October, indicating he had an attitude problem, was egotistical and was not adjusting to life at a top club.

So yeah it's not gospel, but forgive me for intaking a number of podcasts and shows to broaden my knowledge of the game, and hear some opinions from others, that I'll either disagree with, or they might actually challenge my own

hopefully united will line up something like this tomorrow night....

    de gea

    Rafael Jones Vidic Evra

    Carrick

    Nani Kagawa Welbeck

    Rooney RVP

Plenty of pace down the wings with nani and welbeck and kagawa threading through balls to rvp and rooney

It would be a welcome addition to have Nani back somebody who can takes on defenders but is he back from injury yet?

There is no chance we will line up like that tomorrow.

    Bahahahahaha

Paddy Power are notoriously unfunny people. I doubt their "Humor" department watch football. How many times have we seen the "John Terry Superimposed over someone, somewhere, winning anything" gag.

Blanc was hardly a mistake also.

Fair enough, very rarely do sky pundits say anything that make's sense let alone Jouno's that have certain angles they're trying to push.

Dont think we will agree on what has gone wrong, hopefully once a new man is in charge you'll see that the problem is and has always been Moyes.

Blanc was godawful, shockingly bad, replacing Stam with him was one of Fergies worst mistakes. He was so past it.

Remember reading somewhere about him being a big influence in the dressing room et al. Apparently brought a lot more than his performances would have suggested.

EDIT: Also it'll go to show that Fergie was playing the long game when Blanc takes over from Moyes and wins the Quad next year.

    I can dream, can't I?

I think the biggest telling point, after what's happened throughout the year, if we see a laboured, sluggish display against Olympiakos and then City, it would raise the question why can't the team get fired up for big occasions.

I don't think we were better than Madrid in last years game, but one thing that did happen was that the players were seriously fired up, they went out and worked their bollocks off in both games.

Can anybody really see that happening in the current regime? 11 players going out and sweating blood? No chance.

Sky Sports on twitter saying how they will be live to cover what promises to be an interesting "Moyes media call" at 2pm.

This is just his normal pre CL match press conference right?

    apparently that's not moyes fault.

all the players have given up because they were tired of success.

    and they relied on SAF.

especially players like rvp who never had to carry an underperfoming side.

Yep but the interest in Moyes will have sky rocketed since the game on Sunday.

That's totally fine, I'm not being awkward out of mis misguided love for the man, or for the sake of being a bollox, just my feelings that there is a combination of factors making a hard enough task even harder.

Out of general curiosity, I always thought the Sunday Suppliment was held in good regard ( obviously some of the panel some weeks can be dross like Oliver Holt to name one), is there any other shows or stuff I'm missing out on?

I normally catch during the week Revista Da Liga, Sunday Supp, The Spanish league podcast, Talksports one, Bundesliga weekly, Football show on newstalk and a few independant shows that are done by fans.

Be interested if there are good ones I'm missing out on

I'd assume so otherwise the internet would have melted with news of an unscheduled press conference!

it's a standard conf. he will shrug and whimper and excuse his way through it again.

I wish someone would lob their shoe at him. just get out and stop destroying the football club.

First leg was a tie, we dominated them untill Nani was dismissed and still gave them a run for their money after the sending off.

This bs that Moyes is destroying the club is nothing more than cheap, lazy drama queen stuff. Being poor for one season isn't ruining a football club like United. If you happen to think so, that actually says a lot about you.

I really can't stand listening to another Moyes press conferance , part of me feels for the man but part of my wants to kill him. He sounds and looks utterly clueless when pressed on the teams woe's and has been spouting the same bollix since the start of the season.

' I was surprized by that'

    ' We weren't good enough'

    'We were unlucky'

    'We didn't show enough'

'I don't know why we didnt play today'

    'I don't know what's gone wrong'

Sorry pal, but it's your job to know all of the above and get it right , if you can't pack your ****ing bags and let someone else who has a clue how to manage at this level take over while you can still leave with ever the slightest...and I mean slightest bit of dignity left.

He's been oozing a certain sense of unease for some time now. I'm suprised that someone from the Pr department hasnt had a sit down with him.

Needs to give a firey, defiant press conference or interview at some stage. The lines of luck and just general deflective rubbish won'#t work anymore.

We know the performances arn't good enough, he knows, the players know, so let's stop beating about the bush.

I just want to see a bit of character, something more then "I thought we did well, got unlucky, *shrug". Something to instill some confidence and get people pumped, it's been utterly perplexing listening to him post match and pre match this season, bar onces at I think Cardiff, where he sounded like a Manchester United manager won. I think we won, but he said it wasn't good enough, and that performance is not befitting this club.

If his job truely is on the line, then I know if I was in his shoes, I'd want to go out with a bit of fight, not with a whimper.

Predicting Moyes will come out with the likes of this BS
"We will look to improve on Wed Night"
"We will look to creating more chances and defend better"
    "The supporters have been fantastic"

    Yadayadayada

If they dont go through, and lose to City then surely its the end for him.

No but the fact that he has taken over a team that won by 11 points last season and taken them to cannon fodder in less than a year says a lot about his abiity to manage and motivate at this level. I don't think anyone doubt's that Utd will not be permanently destryoed, but we do doubt that Moyes is the man to bring them though it.

Look, some managers just don't suit certain teams and it really isn't happening for him. Sure Brian Clough failed miserably at Leeds and took them right down the table, the board acted swiftly despite there investment in him and Leeds came back to playing like Leeds and Clough went on to become a great. But Leeds & Clough...comeplete mis match.

AVB announced as new Zenit manager.

Have to say when Fergie retirmenet news came beckoning, and obviously there was the immediate link in my brain to Mourinho calling to come back to England, AVB immediately sprung into my head.

I like him as a coach, he seems calm and collected and comfortable in what he does. Stupidly ****ed over twice imo by London clubs, both times outlined he would have time to implement his vision, United would have been a good platform for him I felt.

There was all this talk about Van Gaal which I don't get, I thought AVB might have been the perfect candidate. Anywho another manager snapped up now to strike of the list, even if there was a replacement being sought after.

That is all fair enough and I'd agree with a lot of it. Not one mention of the club being destroyed anywhere in sight!
