How does Höwedes get anywhere near the national side? Baffling.

Total awesomeness by Bayern again but it has become SPL like now. Apparently Neuer hadn't contact with the ball for 26 minutes at one stage. :o

Interesting how such dominance creates its own pressure. With this kind of a league run nothing else but a repeat of last year's season will do, CL and all. The Bayern fans will practically expect it and the others will sneer at anything less. Nice problem to have.

Boban Rajkovic is going to be out for a few months with a torn cruciate. Very disappointing after 8 months in the 4th division side.

8 days ago this would not have mattered, but he came in against Dortmund and had a great game. We are sorely lacking a defender that is simply comfortable and confident like he was. The rest seem to be nervous wrecks anytime they are around the ball.

Well that Hoffenheim match wasn't boring :pac:
Must say Firmino is a tidy little player.

Hi Lads, I'm hoping to get to a game next season, probably October.

Aiming to see Dortumnd, but will be flying to Dusseldorf so I'm guessing Schalke, Mönchengladbach, Leverkusen and Koln are all within easy reach too?

Are Dortmund tickets hard to get? Do the fixtures get moved around much for TV like they would in England or Spain?

    Thanks!

That was a great Monday night 2.BL game between Pauli and Union. Pauli came from 1 down and scored the winner in the 88th minute. That last 35 minutes especially was end-to-end stuff.

Yes, they are all right around there.

Never bought tix from them so I don't know, but you should be able to get them easily enough depending on who they are playing.
As for fixtures, they are all confirmed in blocks. October games are usually confirmed in the first week of September so you'll know the exact dates/times then

Surely a better representation would have the wood being cut down by the likes of Gladbach, Nurnberg, Hertha and Wisla Krakow.

    That wouldn't be funny though.

Yeah sorry about that, made some silly drunken comments in a beerhall in Munich the other day and well one thing led to another...

Marcell Jansen out for 6-8 weeks after damaging his ankle ligaments against Chile.

    I'm going to punch Löw.

Lasogga played injured last week and Slomka says he might be rested this week in case further damage is caused.

    Next 4 games are huge.

    vs 12th, 14th, 15th and 17th. We are 16th..

A win for Eintracht on Saturday and they'll stay up.

Last weeks win against Stuttgart was a HUGE victory.

Unfortunately though I can see storm clouds on the horizon for next season.

Veh is leaving. Rode is off to Bayern. If Meier and Zambrano go then another season fighting relegation beckons.

Phenomenal to think that Stuttgart have lost their last 8 BL matches (and 10 of the last 11).

There can't be long left now for Thomas Schneider (He got the dreaded vote of confidence on Tuesday)

99.9% sure we will lose tomorrow. We have zero attacking presence with Zoua up front and a sh*t defense just got even worse with Jansen out. Westermann will probably play left back and Mancienne/Tah will be at CB alongside Djourou.

Köln losing at home to Cottbus of all teams.

edit: And in 2 minutes they score twice.

Just curious since you mentioned Djourou how has he been doing? Does it look like he will be offered a permanent stay?

What a clearance off the line to save Köln! Straight up the other end of the pitch and Ujah makes it 2-1. Nice comeback.

He has been fairly sh*te most of the time. He can't pass to save his life.

Our SD is an idiot so he will probably waste €2.5m on him.

I should mention that almost every player on the team has been s**t this year. I'm sure he is decent but I hope he isn't re-signed.

Looking at Basel's team on transfermarkt now to see if they have any players that look like Jacques Zoua. I'm thinking they sent us their groundskeeper or something.

This man is not a footballer.

Wolfsburg go 1 up, 1-1 at half time, they could get something here.

    Aaaaaaaaaaaand bayern are winning 6-1.

Even their goal difference is unreal

But Augsburg winning at Gladbach, not really a shocker anymore, they are doing quite well this season

Schneider out as Stuttgart HC. Huub Stevens has replaced him.

Saves us 7 years ago when he took over with the club in the relegation zone.

Schneider will probably go back to managing one of the youth teams now.

    Pretty impressive stuff from Hunt.
He dived, ref gave a peno. Hunt changed his mind, told the ref he dived, ref accepted.

Would Hunt have done that if his team were losing?

Fair play to him though. . .

Uli Hoeness in gaol for three and a half years, well that's the sentence - out in two no doubt.
