Gym done. Flight to Amsterdam booked for April. It's been a productive day so far :P

Aye. My mind's been turning towards Amsterdam lately too. Been about five years since I was last there.

Insomniac are the Spyro masters. Played the trilogy as a kid and I loved them to bits. I'm giving Sierra's series a shot, though.

This is probably my favourite piece from the Spyro soundtrack. That opening riff is class.

I've played two or three of the Sierra series of Spyros, didn't care much for them. Same with Crash Bandicoot after Naughty Dog stopped making them, the series suffered.

I always found it funny how close ND and Insomniac seemed, especially with the Ratchet and Clank and Jak series of games.

ND and Insomniac worked in the same building, and as far as I know, the two studios were on very, very good terms with one another. They were like best friends at the time.

Yeah, iirc one of the the R&C games had a costume for Ratchet so he looked like Jak, and one of the Jak games had a Ratchet costume. They've had somewhat similar games competing with each other too (Spyro and Crash, R&C and Jak and Daxter, kinda Resistance and Uncharted).

I just realised that while A New Beginning and Dawn of the Dragon are on the Xbox Marketplace, The Eternal Night isn't, for some strange reason.

I'm also thinking of getting a PS1 from Amazon over the summer with the classic trilogy. That'd be class.

That'd be nice. I've picked up the first three R&C games when they were re-released for the PS3, I didn't regret it :D I've got all the future series too, it's a great bunch of games.

The only R&C game I've played was one off the PS2 demo disc. It kicked serious arse.

Spyro was the only platformer I played religiously. I had one Crash Bandicoot game on the Gameboy, but I don't remember much of it...

Oh, even better. It's a beautiful city.

If you want a few tips on where to go, etc. just gimme a pm.

You definitely have to check out ARTIS though, it's the zoo. They have an ant-eater. It's possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen :pac:

Any idea which game it was? Of the four on the PS2 my favourite was 3.

Also, Crash Team Racing was class.

I don't recall the name... You had to fight in an area at one point.

I think most of the games have arena levels :pac: I'd say it was either 2 or 3.

Ah lads, Crash Bandicoot was amazing.. but only the PS1 games. I hated the PS2 games, they were sh1t.
