You picked out my Tempra by just the headlight but couldn't recognize an X1/9 in full view, for shame :pac::pac::pac:

That's some mongrel of a car looks like a 1500 with 1300 bumpers..... They had 2 wipers from the factory, headlight mount on the right is in dire need of a reweld, needs a nose cone.

Still, in better nick than the black one here....

This is the first time in 8 months that I've owned a car, picked up this as a cheap runaround. 99 Ford Falcon. By far the comfiest car I've ever owned, the most powerful too

Aye but at the same time it's my first RWD, first automatic, first 6 cylinder, first 4 litre! So it's still a bit of fun!

Things are going good buddy, we'll probably be back in the next 4 months or so. Planning on doing a bit of a road trip in it to Sydney and Melbourne before leaving. It's the first car I've owned that I'm looking forward to driving a few thousand KMs in it

That's the best way to finish off!
If you can cram in a week or two in New Zealand before you leave you definitely should. As much as I loved Aus, NZ is just too much fun.

    My first car.

Hopefully it'll be fairly reliable and won't cost me a fortune which is what I want from it.

@Heathen - is that in Corbetts in Waterford? If so, I parked next to that car at work every day. It seemed exceptionally well looked after and I knew he wouldn't ding my door as a result.

    Either way, lovely motor.

Yep, thats where i picked her up, you can see my old green mazda 6 in the background that i traded in.

You work not too far from George Corbetts where the original owner works yea? I was told the previous owner works there alright.

If you know him you can tell him it is being very well looked after still, and was bought by a proper enthusiast, i keep my cars as good as new, so it went to a good home. He kept it in mint condition and she runs as smooth as!!!

Delighted with her and she is nice and pokey!! 256bhp :D

Ahhh i just saw on your detailing FB page yours was a LH reg so its not the one i have now, but the detailing on your's is lethal looking :)

    No it's not your one.

Was a W-reg (won't post it:p), paint was definitely D/A'd as I used to park a year old 6 next to it and my paint had more swirls than that. Was always spotless. Looks like it was replaced with a newer model 6 in Z-sport spec so 2.2 185 brake.

Always liked that car anyway, I don't work in Corbetts but that's not to say someone there didn't buy it in the meantime or it was theirs orinally. Rare to find one that clean and straight. Well wear.

Oh yea, sorry i didnt mean you worked there, i meant you work near there... about 300 meters down the road? Yea the salesman told me he got the newer model alright. I am well happy with my purchase :)

Wouldn't blame ya, that's a very nice motor. Thank I saw it parked the other week actually looking clean.

The car is back in action. Broke a rocker arm a week it two back, which in turn scored the cam. Replacements fitted last night, a clean/wash this morning :)
