The nature of this game world is that it's quite hard to get great players. If you do manage to get a deal going, you have to overpay. A lot of the time, people don't want to do a deal.

So yeah...if there is is a chance to do a deal in other ways, what is expected? To be clear, I haven't participated in such a deal yet; offered one but it wasn't accepted. But since this is my main game world, I will do what I can to do well here, and if that means doing deals in other worlds, then so be it.

That makes me so sick man.... Thats the GW ruined for none gold managers..

Might as well state in the charter that you need multiple teams in different world just to have a chance of signing a player.

After the amount of transfer activity in the last couple of weeks, that's a poor defence but like I said, ye aren't breaking any rules so nothing can be done, not much anyway...

Does the defence wish to cross examine?

Been away since early evening and only getting in here now to catch up.

I've been offered a couple of inter-GW deals and have politely refused each of them, without getting into the specifics of why with the lads involved.
I might alienate a couple of lads I get on well with here, and that's not the intention, but the reason I refused them is that I think it's not right. I think it's manipulating a situation.

I manage three clubs and that's enough for me, I was even thinking of letting one of them go. So am I at a disadvantage because I only manage three clubs compared to some lad's 10?

As long as it's unenforceable or not against the rules, there's nothing can be done to stop it, but I don't think it's right so I wont be partaking in inter-GW transfers.

I made him cash offers on Courtois, all rejected, p/xs on coutrois, all rejected, so swithced my attention to lukaku and kdb, think I offered modric for both of them(can be 100 sure on that ... made cash offers on lukaku, made p/x offers on lukaku, I PM'd him or chat msgd him every few days ... in the end he countered with an offer close to the deal we agreed

News coming out of the Port City of Genoa tonight is that manager Reggie Blinkered is considering his position at the helm of the club.

Reports suggest he has grown disillusioned with management after his traditional views were poisoned by the futuristic black magic approach of some modern day managers.

Local press close to the Genoa camp suggest it is not a forgone conclusion and that Blinkered is talking to trusted advisors. However other media outlets have suggested these meetings are to secure a safe haven for Mohammed Salah before the manager departs.

This touches on what my argument would be. The Man City squad that I took over in another league is quite a strong one, and the league has several manager from this league, but if I ever planned to leave that league the temptation is always going to be there to sell those players in order to get a good player here. Would I care about ruining the City team, probably not, because I would be leaving them anyway!!

This essentially hands me an unfair advantage in the transfer market in this world.

P.S. I would never actually do a cross-gameworld transfer. The above is just a hypothetical scenario! :D

Also, I have no idea why I'm entering this debate when I'm not too bothered either way since it's just a game anyway. :D:D

Being honest, despite how many transfers were done recently, it's still getting harder as the weeks go by to get top players moving around.

Used to be that you could get players for 4 times their value if you had the cash.

Then you could get a player if you were willing to p/e your best players in the process. Even then, a lot of people are afraid or refuse to negotiate.

So I just see cross-GW deals as another negotiation tool in the ever evolving process of transferring players. Fair enough if that's where some people draw the line. But ultimately if a deal is struck between two managers where both get something they want, be it in this world or another or both, then that's how the game is played.

When I made such an offer last week, I never thought that this is where people would get stroppy about the transfer market of this world....
