Three hours under a Trooper changing the starter motor. Its easy knowing they fitted it to the engine before they put the engine into the jeep. Should have went on YouTube and learned to curse in Japanese before I started . :)

Folk, perhaps just a reminder to check up on elderly neighbours, if you haven't seen them for a few days. We buried a neighbour today, she was deceased about a week.

Just taking an idea from another thread. If you pump slurry through a separator, could the resulting liquid be classes as dirty water. Is dirty water classed as liquid with under 1% dry matter, or am I dreaming that up

your dreaming. BOD would be greater than 2500mg/l coming from separator. would the liquid be under 1% dm??? surely not or are you talking of putting digestive through separator

I honestly don't know much about separayors only that I see lots of farmers in NI with them. Whats the advantage of a separator. I can only see the disadvantage of having to have a dung spreader for tge solids

Why would you put biscuits through a separator?

Backing into load bullocks for mart this am and the f@&&ing clutch fell to the floor and didn't come back up, either a slave cylinder or master cylinder, by looking it up it sounds like a lovely job to do

Pray it isnt the clutch release bearing. Had the same on my own before, if it was the slave I think you'd notice clutch fluid dropping quickly and dripping from the bell housing

What model jeep is it, Simx? Is the slave cylinder on the inside of the bell-housing or out where you can get at it?

went out this morning, one of my stale cows had calved in the cubicle shed:eek: scanning said she wasnt due til april and was on my list to dry off tomorrow. She had an abo heifer calf , alls well . Scrapers ran out of oil during the night just as well as they probably would have harmed the calf
