BS + Ribery for Messi? It's not going ahead, just wondering people's opinions? :)

Na! Ribery will be back in France before long IMO

did he drop to 88 yet?

88 is ambitious for TC23.... God he's awful! He's up there with Fletcher as my 2 most disliked at Utd at the min....

Obviously this is bearing in mind Ando is one foot out the door

I always have this argument with my fellow Man U fans, make a very long argument into a short one..... Try to remember that Man U are/were considered one of THE TOP European teams in not so distant memory...

    Barca's midfield
    Bayern's midfield
    Real's midfield

Need I go on? Seriously these 2 are suppose to be the engine room of 'THE BIGGEST' global club in the world, arguably.....

No wonder we are being laughed at.

United have needed a CM since Keane left. Scholes was fantastic but they need an enforcer. Someone that can break up play but also pick out those amazing through balls and bang in a few goals as well

Well it sure as **** ain't TC or Fletch, they wouldn't be out of place playing for Sunderland or Palace or something, awfully limited players.....

If anyone has every really really watched Fletcher he does nothing but give the ball away, not ONCE seen him play an incisive pass... Always simple ball across the midfield, which is grand if your not playing for one of the greatest clubs in the world of which a hell of a lot more is required!!!

    EXACTLY what I mean!

Fletch is grand at breaking up play but hopeless at pinging balls around the park

I'd a mate analyse Carrick there last week. With plenty of space in front of him he was always passing laterally or backwards and would never run at the opposition. It seems like some players are now afraid to be the one to try things incase it doesnt work out, where they then suffer the wrath of a section of the crowd

Carrick has always been like that though, makes up for it with his range of passing though...

I do agree though that he could be more imposing in possession, he has ability so my guess is he's told not to....

Its sad to think that Barca/Munich and the rest have better CM on their bench than we do starting though....

Capoue is off to Napoli in RL???

Is that a good thing or a bad thing for his ratings? I know Napoli are doing well but will he get into the team? I still reckon he is a safe 90 though

    Wait what!!
News to me... But I doubt he'll drop in rating if he moves there.

Apparently so, Napoli representatives flying in tomorrow to discuss the deal.....

Strange one because he looked a hell of a player in the game time he did get at Spurs, on of the better summer signings for sure

    Hi there,

first post here as SM forum seems it is not working today, but I need your help for a deal. I'm running out of money and my balance is weak, so I'm planning to sell some players of mine. I was bidding on Dong-Won JI but the manager refused my offer.
    Then he asked me this:

Siem de Jong (on my transfer list) = 20M plus Dong-Won JI

    what should I do?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,515 ✭✭✭tupac_healy

I would consider that bid, taking into accound that Ji will be a Dortmund player next year!

If you can cover De Jong I would do it

Tough one... Will Marcelo and Rod get into your starting 11?

Marcelo probably won't rise anytime soon, but I can see Rodriguez getting a +1 soon enough.
I'd take it if both players can make your starting 11.

I've a problem, with Lahm gone I've nothing over 89 for D(R) and already have Alaba at D(L) who'll be rising faster than Marcelo. Really want Rodriguez...but he won't start, it'll be one for the future

I'm gonna look for D(R) and then see what we can do

Right so I'm playing as Dortmund in a new German Chamionship.

I've signed Schurrle and also swapped Aubameyang for Higuain plus cash.

I thinking of moving on Nuri Sahin, he's 91 and 25. Have been looking at Jack Wilshere, who's 91 and only 22/23 or Sami Khedira, 92 but 27.

Leaning towards Wilshere due to his age and he'll probably get a bump to 92...

    Any advice?

Out of interest how much cash did you get with Hig for Auba??

You've made a good start, I'd get Wilshire. He could have a good WC and push on, he has the talent and age is on his side... If you can sell Sahin and get Wilshire I'd do that
