    It's that crook Eavans again.

Massive gamble, same as Prince of Burma.

    I'm in heavily e/w @ 6-1

    Nice.

Portway flyer out again tomorrow again. Just with the same 7 pound penalty again.
There is another horse who looks well in as well in the same race.
Currently 8/11 missed the punt the last day. Tempted to get involved tomorrow but concerned about the quick turn around and that other horse Pass Muster.
    What do people think?

I'm not sure, 8/11 is quite short.

The other horse also won very easily.

I'd wait until tomorrow and check out ground preferances for each horse.

You'll get easier 8/11 shots. Remember he was 8/11 the last day but is 7lbs higher now and faces a more dangerous rival.

Other people might know more than me but 8/11 in handicap is not for me

    River D'or runs @ 2:05 Exeter tomorrow 10-1

Is being heavily backed. Should be shorter tomorrow

No penalty for te win the last day just running under the same penalty as on Wednesday. That being said as a rule I don't usually back odds on in a hc especially 1 at this grade. I will almost definitely be leaving him run I have a couple I like in sandown.
Was just flagging him up for the lads that backed him the last day.

I reckon Harry topper will win that race fairly easily with rolling aces.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 256 ✭✭CueCard7

I think Harry Toppers jumping will get caught out on 3m on good ground.

Was on him the last day and looks a real stayer.

He is the better horse but with his quirks, ground conditions I 'd rather be on Rolling Aces. I think he'll labour at the beginning.

    Rolling Aces is rated higher

His form of beating Toner D'Oudairies reads well.

3m will be fine for him but if its run at a slow pace it mightn't suit as much. I think the best is still to come from Harry topper. He will come on a tonne for the run the last day and he is streets ahead of wayward prince and the others that were close to hand that day. Rolling aces is a good horse, the trip will stretch him against Harry topper. I firmly believe Harry topper is "just" short of top class but will win a few grade 1s along the way

I'm better on All Weather and flat.

But they way he ran the last time I think he could be found out today.

Jumping is harder in small fields

I see 2 Wexford p2p jockeys have made the trip over to Sandown to ride in the 14.55....Barry O'Neill and Jamie Codd, both fighting for favouritism at the moment, now if i was a betting man, i would be having a few pound on Barrys mount Coolle River ;-0

The best PTP winner this year was Cloudy Rock.He will run in a bumper very shortly and he a beast. He will go on any ground but from a permit holder.??This is the best horse i have seen on the ptp this year.Another horse to catch my eye was Sleepy Eye a dour stayer when the ground is heavy he will thrive. This lad stays forever.Put these horses in your notebook.Cloudy Rock could be very special.

I didn't even see your post until after the race and didn't see
anything worth backing and definitely not an evans shortie

If you can make a profit at this game then you are good
Worked in the industry for a few years and folks who do
as many bets as you usually end up on the wrong side in
    my experience

Good luck to you though and I hope you make it pay
I can say hand on heart that i hope anyone can make
a few quid off the bookies given how much they are
making off folk who have no discipline
I hope for your sake you have some discipline and you
    don't end up with nothing

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 256 ✭✭CueCard7

    It was advised at 5-1

    Not a shorty.

I think it was disciplined to put 1 bet in tip thread today with gun to head and for it to win @ 5-1

What you don't understand is that I might bet 5 on other races

But on two races on card had a really good bet. I like staying all weather.

Had three bets on jumps today all relatively small.

    Baby Run e/w

    Grandouet

And Nicholls horse in last in Sandown.

So yeah I made a tidy profit.

And proved it by posting up here.

Just cause there s mugs in every bookies with no internet backing blind doesn't mean I 'm one of them.

On baby run e/w and on Nicholls go

I know 5/1 isnt a shorty, never said anything about that

I never said you were one of them
I hope you can make it pay but IN my experience ive seen
    otherwise
I am not saying YOU are one of them

best of luck, keep it up

I see theres a discussion in the other thread already

You told us. €100 a point, I think. Or maybe €200. Not sure really. Whatever qualifies as a living these days. Or maybe you're changing your mind from BOOOOOOM 800% profit to BOOOOOOOOM 400% profit. Up to you really.

    Even SRFC was entertaining.

In the midst of all the cracking analysis, the well -informed , knowledgeable posters on here, from time to time up pops a Midas like cue card. Any chance you'd either start a log (I'd suggest you do your homework but I'd imagine suggestions are like committed lesbians - utterly pointless) or just PFO. This was a really informative and enjoyable forum before you started cluttering up every thread.

I really hope your interview goes well.

I also really hope that I'm not invested in whichever financial services company that gives you a job. Your maths...

    Midas turned everything into Gold.

If you followed my tips yesterday you'd have more gold yourself.

I'll keep posting the winners baby.

Your a bit of a gay basher? Thought that went out of fashion.

Your just raging cause you put a gun to my head and out popped a 5/1 winner.

2-1 winner. 20-1 second. Yes I am Midas the with the golden touch !
