    dont put me and baby formula in the same sentence, unless its some cheap byproduct I can feed to cattle, even though I can smell it here 24/7 :)

    We were on Aptamil and are now on Cow & Gate comfort. Could tell you more about formula than beef nuts at the moment.:D:D

    Was in mechants this am and asked whats the out of season price.on silage pit covers so after a bit of haggling i have enough covers for next two years worked out €10/roll cheaper than what i gave them in summer and worked out €18/roll cheaper than what glanbia wanted

    I've worked in some crazy industries doing some crazy ass jobs... and not once has a quote from Peig fcuking Sayers come in the smallest bit useful:o

    Trigonometry hasnt been much more useful either !!

    And the teacher who beat us black and blue for writing with left hand... I'm not the devil and shes 6ft under with the worms where she belongs !!

    one thing my father always made sure was that i could do my sums. He said lads will always try fool ye in farming, but if your quick with your sums in your head you'll never go wrong.

    Very true. This lad is great at maths, when ya can get him to concentrate and slow down. He reckons the fastest way is the only way, pity it has him doing his homework two or three times instead of once :rolleyes:

    Our school was rather old fashioned when I was in primary so the books were used for years and years on the rental scheme.
    I kept all my brothers copies and used them for *ahem* research two years down the line:rolleyes:
