    2.50 Exeter tomorrow.Nap.
Surely William's Wishes is a solid bet at 9/2 to beat Cue Card. He is getting 19LB from the top weight.
Cue Card won this off 157 last year but has to run off 172 tomorrow which will be some feat if he can do it.

Are you copying Rossom? He is only 4/1 with three firms, 7/2 with the others.

I think Williams Wishes is a smashing horse but for me Cue Card is probably the 2nd/ 3rd best horse around at the moment. I think he had a fair bit up his sleeve winning the Ryanair and he was idling and would fully expect him to run to 180 or maybe a bit more this season. It's going to be smashing effort to win but I think Cue Card is more than capable.

    I agree with this.
I really couldnt be having Williams Wishes at the prices. If i was trying to beat Cue Card i would be more inclined to side with Module. But i just dont see it. At the same time 5/4 is just a bit short. Would be interested if he hit 7/4+ but i cant see that happening.
WW goes well fresh but the same could be said about probably 3 of them. He has the potential but there aren't enough doubts about Cue Card to be backing him at 4/1 and even at that there are horses like Module, Fago that could easily be as good if not better than him off 1lb lower.

hate puntin on Mondays but havin a little E/W on Miss Twiggy in the last at Carlisle.Fav was 20+ lenghts behind Faugheen in Punchestown bumper but is very short and duel trainer Ellison and Danny Cook(very underrated) are in great form so 25 win & 4.3 place on betfair will do for me.How is it that Betfair are so tight with their Place odds? Surely the mainstream bookies are not generous with 1/5 the odds yet betfair are regularly shorter percentage wise but still better that bookies.

I don't think there's a lot of people willing to lay place bets so that could be the reason.

With a bookie you are backing to win and ew so if you dont think a horse will win but will place you are really getting 1/8 or 1/10 of the odds that is why it make sense to place bet with betfair.

Isn,t it possible to bet Place only with bookmakers and you get 1/5 the odds or 1/4 in a 16 runner h,cap.Betfairs Place market bears no corelation to the win market.I suspect layers ignore place laying and Betfair themselves throw up meagre odds just to maintain a market.

It is possible but not very common, some bookies might have a w/o fav or selection to win yes/no bet or match bets I haven't noticed place bets much.

Coach Bombay, 7.45 Dundalk. Very well handicapped on his form this time last year, 20's is gone ( my tenner probably caused that) but still worth a few quid at 14's. Probably win or come last!
