    Just looking at it there now and it seems they already have 15-20% of the horse racing market from betfair and there only a few days old, this bodes well for the future for them.
    One great advantage is that you can get a cashcard from ladbrokes and withdraw from the shop straight away after using the exchange, with betfair your waiting days for money.

    Not a bad start but prices aren't as tight as Betfair's on a lot of markets, not as many markets as BF and am I right the commission rate is 5%?

    Would have thought they would have separated the Main book and the Exchange instead of having them on the same site?

    The ladbrokes exchange is just the Betdaq exchange under a different skin.

    Nothing new and Betdaq exchange is faster!

    Different skin with a lot more liquidity!
    Mind you that wouldn't be hard :rolleyes:

    I hope it is a success but remember that Bdaq and BF calculate the total amount matched on a market in different ways.
    For BF it is twice the sum of all the backer's stakes.
    For Bdaq it is the sum of the backer's liability and layer's liability on every bet.

    So one bet of €100 at 5.0 on BF = €200 matched on the market
    Bdaq = 100 stake + 400 layer's liability = €500 matched on the market

    Did BF/BDaq reveal that themselves?

    It is obvious to anyone who views a low-liquidity market on either.

    Bet 5 euro on something at odds of 1000 on betdaq, view how much was matched on each outcome and your 5er will show as 5000 (or 5005, not sure), on that event, and adds 5000 to the total matched in the market. Have no access to daq at the moment.

    I looked at betfair there. if you click in on a low liquidity market, you can see that for some selections, the total matched is 2 euro. Since 2 euro is the minimum bet one can have, it's impossible that betfair's matched price includes both the backer's stake and the same amount for the layer. It only accounts for the total stake of the backer from what I can see. I don't like the betdaq site so don't know what they do but I don't disagree with you. It's a very pathetic system if that's true.

    You can stake less than 2 euro by using software such as Geekstoy or through other methods which involve editing your bet step by step.

    In which case I stand corrected. Although it is pretty coincidental that the lowest you ever find is 2!
