Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Anyways just started this and doesn't seem to bad and getting there slowly,it's not 100% complete but working

    Ad posted below,ok i have to change (Car details) to Coaches/Buses,just spotted that actually

    How to place an add,ok i select the Category Cars in the dropdown menu

    You can add up to 10 images,that can change also

    Further down when posting an ad you can add,make,model,car type,year,doors,seats,mileage,Engine size (cc),Number of Airbags,Transmission,Fuel,Seller,Power,Gears etc etc

    This option is not there when posting in all Categories,only applies to main Categories as seen below,you can also add your own tube video when posting and google maps shows your area

    comment section on an item (showing when blank and posted) not 100% fully configured but working,just slight detail to improve

    When Posted (avatar will be configured and added to comments) also you can see (Contact Seller/Share this ad with a friend)

    How to Contact the Publisher of the ad

    There are 3 ways of doing this

    1 : On any item you can leave a comment (please check comments on a regular basis as as yet there is no notification for comments) and you can leave your phone number if you wish!!

    2 : On any item you can Contact Publisher through e-mail as seen below

    3 : Private Message system

    How to enable (Private Message system) (Contact Publisher through e-mail)

    Go to My Account/PM settings and enable/disable if you please as seen below,you can also manage all of your settings by going to My Account

    It is with 1668 impressions according to your counter (seriously!!!) which is just over a dozen page views a day over the last 4 months. How successful do you reckon that is?

    You really need to start listening to people with experience in these fields.

    Dear Tricky D,

    I'm sure you are aware success do not happen overnight,yes it has been four months and it could be four years,if that's what it takes well so be it!!

    The borders, margins and padding are all over the shop. Text should not snuggle nicely against it's container wall. Boxes should not flow outside of their containing boxes.

    It's not even slightly responsive, rendering in full size on any mobile devices.

    Colour choice is dubious (at best).

    The "best viewed with Netscape Navigator" banner is missing.

    This a Mosaic site, with apols to Mosaic. I miss Mosaic.

    "You must login or register a new free account in order to contact the advertiser " - Death sentence, right there.

    The look and feel is very, very poor. I wouldn't know where to start with recommendations. Find a partner who can design, but first of all find a niche, you have zero chance of success otherwise.
