Anyone tell me why Rio & Vidic weren't involved today ? Would have thought they'd have started with no internationals .

Really not looking forward to the match v Arsenal.

The sooner he's gone the better to be fair. Absolutely clueless manager.

Not one player stood out today, again failed to push on when we got the lead, same old story.

The belief that was in the team last season seems to be gone.

In fairness, both have had some bad games as of late. Vidic cost us two goals in his last two games, and Rio has been very shakey as well.

    Giggs?????

    Just shocking.

Welbeck was also appalling when he came on.

    Very poor substitutions.

    Was Kagawa on the bench?

    It's a sham a disgrace and a sham.

Rooney should be dropped after that performance, hopefully he won't hand in a transfer request if he is.

    The subs were ridiculous.

All the Moyes supporters still think he deserves time? More time to ruin our football club?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 56,089 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

You know I thought Southampton were the home team today, it was that bad. They really deserve to draw the match but its embarrassing, utd PL champions going negative against Southampton, come on

Moyes is a coward of a manager. Might as well get rid of Kagawa. He's wasted under this heartless manager.

Southampton have been very poor all year and pose little threat in front of goal. So why take off Rooney and put on another defender? To allow Southampton onto us?

    Just stupid. Absolutely stupid.

Southampton and Swansea play great football on a budget, why cant we play good football?

Nani was getting a lot of joy and was taken off way too early. We had the chance to kick on and seal the match but instead we tried to cling on to a 1-0 lead at home to Southampton. Not good enough

Apparently you're a bad fan if you want him out.

At least when we were losing with fergie we were fun to watch. Januzaj must be at home thinking "I've made a huge mistake" :pac:

If we keep pushing we could just about finish the season in the top half of the table at this rate.

Yes Kagawa was on the bench. Not sick, not injured. But Smalling is clearly a better substitutions to make at home to Southampton when we are winning 1-0.

Moyes still has my support but at what stage does he realise he's at the Premier League champions and not Everton? Bizarre substitutions. Southampton were working hard but not really threatening at all, Moyes threw the points away.

Wtf is Welbeck doing on the pitch, and Giggs

We're 8 points off the top, 3 games into our easy run and 4 points

I've heard that nugget alright. How much more evidence do we need to see?

His substitutions each week alone are enough to confirm that he's totally clueless.

    Welbeck for Fellani was shocking.

Southampton deserved more respect and thats what cost the 3 points.

Doing well til then and another UTD goal looked inevitable.

I only got to listen to the second half on the radio, Today Fm. The commentators were not all that complimentary about United, it appears to have been another lifeless performance where we couldn't string five passes together, would that be right?

I have to admit, it was very depressing to hear the commentator read out the subs bench, naming Zaha and Kagawa, then a few minutes later they announce a sub coming on, and the sub is...Ryan Giggs.

I'd love to hear Moyes' reasoning behind his substitutions all season, because from where I am sitting they have been universally dreadful.

Hang on a minute. David moyes has single handedly put us for points clear of the drop zone. Do you see him getting any credit for it?

Ya they owned the ball for long periods of that game, they have some quality
midfield players,I think Schneiderlin is very under rated in what he does, quick feet, can pass it well and can also defend well.

Lovern had RVP in his pocket for most of the game, but Utd aren't creating the amount of chances they were last season for him

Time for someone to send Moyes last seasons League review DVD,they weren't great at times last season but they were still creating chances

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 56,089 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Its clear to me anyway that he totally out of his depth. I dont care that its not really his team but you dont have this awful start to the season with the current PL champions. Its a dreadful appointment from the very start

No seriously its becoming a joke he is clearly out of his depth as a manager at this level.

Hes making changes to the team that make no bloody sense at all.

I mean its common ****ing sense yet hes making a bollox of it.

    No excuses at all.

I have very little faith in him i wanted to but hes doing everything the wrong way.

At this stage it matters **** all how long hes at the club because hes bringing us backwards not forwards.
