Coming towards holiday time (usually take them at the end of August) and knowing when you return that it will be September and that time will fly between now and Christmas!

My Fave time of year is Oct/Nov.

Wedding anniversary is Early Oct and I'm excited about celebrating that. We have the BEST hotel booked for 2 nights. Outdoor Jacuzzi anyone? :cool:

The dogs stay settled in the morning for longer, as I type I'm having my first lie on with them on the bed since last winter. It's so cosy and lovely.

Long dark nights. Frosty fresh mornings. Getting ready for Christmas. Open fire. Red wine snuggled up in a blanket outside on a fresh starry night. Hot drinks. Comfort food. Big Jumpers.

Saw my first squirrel of the year this morning

Bounding around Stephens Green, then rustling for some acorns.

I love how they jump, and the nice bushy tail.

Been wearing mine for a week already! Not always needed but on some days it is.
This morning walking to work was great. I had my winter coat on, a big woolly scarf and gloves. There were autumn leaves down everywhere after the stormy weather last night and it was still quite windy but mild. My hair was blowing all over the place and so were some of the (less wet) leaves. Perfect Autumn
